Subscribed to his channel ages ago, he covers food that is available to the masses and does it in a chilled, pleasant way. Top bloke who earns every penny he makes IMO. This video seemed to understand key drivers of his popularity and was a fair overview of him/his style IMO.

I have been a subscriber to his channel for a few years, i think it's his honest reviews of food that most us us would buy, but are not sure if we are going to like it or not. The fact that he is so honest makes him a rare person on KZbin. Most channels are sponsored and try to keep their sponsors happy. If Gareth doesn't like a product he will say so.
