I feel like cooler being in some frieza prison, and frieza finds out or remembers him could be cool. He could have been training to escape, and we would get a what if frieza was trapped in the time chamber type scenario. I feel like this makes a better scenario than what if goku or vegeta was trapped, because the cast would jave to find a way to actually beat this guy. Concidering the strength of golu gohan and vegeta rn, this would be a good challenge.

What if Frieza and Cooler were both given their own empires and been sent to opposite ends of the universe to see who could conquer more as some sort of ego challenge rivalry? That's how you could explain Cooler's arrival and Frieza could be like "wtf are you doing here?" and Cooler could just make fun of him for getting bitched by "low class saiyans" multiple times and showing off how much more powerful he is than his brother. That's when it's revealed that Frieza's gold form ain't shit and Cooler already surpassed that ages ago cuz he actually cares about training (Super Cooler would be different from Z Cooler of course). Idk I just wanna see him come back and have a reason to be feared

I always imagined Frieza and Cooler were mutants of their race, that being their 3rd, 4th, and 5th forms were unique to ONLY them. This explains why no one else of their race would be relevant, and why King Cold looked like he was permanently in 2nd form. Maybe that's just the "mature" form their race takes after a certain age. The 3rd form, especially can just be a result of him preparing to transform into that 4th form while still IN 2nd form. Hell, his final body could've been birthed from that gigantic head, like a pod.

I feel like a really easy way Cooler could've been canon was to just make him the Universe 6 frieza counterpart, instead of... Frost..

Ah Cooler's your favourite too? And I wanna point out that King Cold birthed Frieza alone. He nor Cooler has no mother. I have my own idea for how to make Cooler cannon. Give him a spin off series. I have my own idea for one. Also, what's World Breaker Cooler?

Well for frieza having a mother in the anime and video games their are reference to freiza mother and world breaker is just like a final transformation I made up

Remember Cooler and broly are the only DBZ movie characters who had a sequel movie. Cooler is also one of the few movies to not just have a connection to the destruction of planet vegeta, but actually uses scenes from the bardock special (which I believe broly did not). That and cooler is the same species as frieza, meaning we could get some lore about them for the first time. We literally have no name for them, no idea where they lived or even what a non-mutated version looked like; since king cold and frieza are said to be mutants of the species; not the normal version. Besides that the only thing we know is that king cold reproduces asexually which this idea can still work regardless as it never said there can't be a mom figure in their family. The animal kingdom in weird and even with them being able to reproduce themselves, they still group in families for survival. Like slugs; slugs are both male and female, so they can do both roles. Once a baby is born the often stay with them for a while before leaving. The only thing I wish they'd make canon along with Cooler is Lord Chilled; but not in the special version but a new version of them. Like a wise old sage or elder (which would make that floaty chair more like a wheelchair). This would give us someone who not only shows what happens when they get old, but also someone who can give knowledge that others might not have about their race. Maybe even the information about the saiyans that lead to frieza destroying them?

The problem is that Cooler is just a Frieza clone. He doesn't really have his own personality, he's just another Frieza when Frieza isn't around. Cooler would have to be an entirely new character with a different personality to be interesting - like Broly. Although Broly really didn't need it because he had plenty of personality in the original.

The only way to make cooler can and it fits is to have him be an escaped galactic prisoner. Like he escaped when Moro broke everyone out and escaped to do his own thing to get his revenge on his brother for getting him caught in the first place.

Cooler's 5th form should have been black friezza's form. imagine how much more hype that moment in the manga would have been. also, imo ever since the TOP arc, Cooler has no way of being integrated ever especially in the way you did. he should be eitheir stronger/around namek friezza level or he should be from one of the deleted universes (have one of the kais or someone like them wishing on the super dragon balls for said universe to be brought back).

Yeah no Cooler shouldn't be cannon. I mean you can spin it anyway you want but 1. Why is Cooler going Golden? Are we forgetting that Frieza alterd the coloration of his new form to match that of SSJ in order to mock goku and show his superiority. How would cooler (someone who's never met frieza face to face after his demise to the sayain or goku go golden) it would make more sense for him to have a different form. As for him going Black sure that kinda makes sense as that form is the peak of their races power. 2. Another reason he shouldn't be cannon is because it'll deminish the spotlight that frieza has, most of the dbz community doesn't care about cooler and would rather have that character slot in the story be taken up by someone else more deserving. Like idk Vegeta going to Universe 6 and meeting the King of Sadala. Someone who probably looks much like his father and we get a cool story arc of Vegeta helping the universe 6 sayains with a grand threat to their world as well as him training the other Sayains on how to transform. 3. Wouldn't Cooler have made a move against Goku and the Z fighters at this point, like where tf has he been. Im pretty sure he would have heard about his brothers death to a sayain which scattered the frieza force all across the galaxy. And if he decided not to show up to take out his vengeance on Goku for taking away the kill that was rightfully his then why doesn't he show up to help ressurect frieza in order to have their final showdown. Like theres too many plotholes of where Cooler has been in order to make him Cannon. It doesn't matter what story you craft it all just doesn't make sense for someone like cooler 🤷🏻‍♂️. Honestly think people just want him to be cannon because Broly became Cannon. Which was an obvious 1st choice out of all the non-cannon or sudo-cannon characters. Broly makes sense whereas all the others don't have a good story beat that lines up 🤷🏻‍♂️

Were talking about Cooler someone who obviously would want to keep tabs on things especially stuff that involves his younger brother and he would most likley have the capabilities to do so. Which sure that may explain him going Golden if his soldiers saw frieza do it but doesn't explain him not trying to kill Goku or even trying to get the Dragon balls for power. Like legit nothing really fits him becoming Cannon. Well except the one dude suggesting him be a universe 6 counterpart but we have Frost for that lol 🤷🏻‍♂️. Maybe him being like Frosts older brother or somthin and Vegeta and Goku have to fight him after visiting Planet Sadala. Like that would make sense and fit.

I disagree with your argument. It would not diminish Frieza's spotlight at all, people love Frieza and Cooler equally, there's a reason why Z-Broly, Bardock and Cooler are always the first (or only) movie DLC added to the games. People only say Cooler should go Golden just because Frieza went golden, but that's just a problem of them being lazy and not thinking about why Frieza went gold. I agree that Cooler should turn into a different color. (maybe Silver to reference Metal Cooler) Why would Cooler avenge Frieza at all? Frieza basically stole the throne from Cooler, leaving him outcast to just take over planets. In Coolers Revenge when he (Cooler) goes after Goku, it's more of him restoring his families honor rather than avenging Frieza. If they do introduce Cooler in the second part of Super, they could have had him either as just another very powerful Frost Demon, that he had crossed into another Universe via weak spot. They could also take the boring route and say that he's just "Frieza from another Universe", but I feel that would be better for the other movie villains, like Lord Slug is Demon King Piccolo or how Turles is Goku from another Universe. Dragon Ball is used to plot holes, all they have to do is just give a good enough explanation as to "Why and Where" Cooler was. (Edited in) Also, what makes Broly the First Choice out of all the Z movie Villains, because technically Bojack and Janemba are pretty close to canon, hell, Fusion Reborn almost slots perfectly into the timeline, Hitler and the zombies on earth just ruin the whole thing. Bojack was freed in the movie when Goku blew up King Kai's planet with Cell.

If Cooler was to show up and in no Black Frieza’s SECOND APPEARANCE AND BASICALLY 4TH MANGA PANEL, involves him getting his ass beat by the new stronger guy, would that not completely destroy all momentum built up from Black Frieza? Like Cooler can’t be made canon until after Black Frieza’s defeat because then Cooler just becomes Black Frieza 2.0 and we waste the potential of Black Frieza. So like Cooler needs to pop up afterwards, but like why wouldn’t he run the fade back when Goku beat Frieza on Namek, or both King Cold and Frieza died. Like if he was gonna redeem his family’s honour, then he would’ve done it either during the Android Arc, or post ROF. Like there’s nothing that would be a good motivator for Cooler if his brother dying twice and his father dying wasn’t a good enough reason. So Narratively Cooler’s entrance makes the most sense to challenge Frieza, but if Cooler wins then literally all the buildup for Black Frieza was just for nothing.
