Kraken's Father any one can look expensive by accessorizing and buying houses and other liabilities but still be in debt.Consider Warren Buffett, he lives in the same house which he bought it in 1950(I don't know the exact year) and still lives in the same house inspite of being the third richest man in the world

Seems like a shallow goal. I think Buffet would say that his goal was to build businesses and challenge himself by pursuing his passionate interest in finance. Popular culture spends too much time venerating people like Buffet for making billions, while ignoring people who apply a similar level of passion to charity, arts, engineering, community, science, etc... As if our net worth were the only thing that marked us as valuable people.

We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Why spend it when you can invest it? Even the 26 billion charity is an investment... Thats the difference between rich people and poor people. Poor people once get the money, spend all his dime into his "happiness". New clothes, expensive watch, luxury car, iphone, etc.... By the end of the month, complain why his money is low... But rich people earn their money, 50% saving it for the future, 30% invest to get more profit, and 20% spend it to gain happiness. RICH GETTING RICHER POOR GETTING POORER.. Its not the government fault, its the mentality

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
@TheJackCain-8410 ай бұрын
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@martingiavarini10 ай бұрын
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Nice video overall but I have to point out a few misconceptions. A) He didn't make $85 billion, he is sustaining an income of approximately $85 billion by maintaining an operation that provides billions of people with services, goods and a source of livelihood. Which brings me to my second point. B) He doesn't "personally" own $85 billion in the true sense of the word, in order to maintain it he has to continually invest it in the operation that produces it which involves millions of people (employees mainly) who get a share of it.

This makes no sense to me . Warren Buffett preaches to find companies with current ratios at 1.50 and above . Companies with very little debt , roe above 20%, Roa at 5% and more , companies with very high gross margins (40% or more ) net profit margins of 20% and more , yet he owns Coca Cola , Bank of America , Sirius Xm, and many more that do not find these key important metrics . Can you please explain why he’s going against his advice ?

He's living the selfless and sufficient life. He's not living the life all teenagers and youngsters dream about. A selfish life that these days is coined as "treating" yourself. Everyone says they'll help the poor and stuff when they're rich, that the wealth gap is unfair, but not a single one of us will give away enough that will hurt our unnecessary luxurious and selfish life and lead a sufficient one. Not saying don't have fun, I'm just saying for every million you make there's a 100 poor individuals that can live comfortably off your money. Complaining about a rich old man not able to use their money on luxuries? You have a very narrow perspective on what makes life meaningful for others.

I understand that it is frustrating to see people who don't have enough and people next to them people who seemingly have enough to help them out, but the truth is that without rich people and selfishness to drive the economy and progress all of us would be in the former position. You cant have your cake and eat it too, and you cant have the things that people provide society and keep from them the money which motivates them to provide those things. Rich people give to society in a coldhearted and backwards but completely valid way. Edit: grammar
