Leo did not cause that wreck, there were many that things at play there and seems the most significant is shared amongst a good portion of the field that being experience or the lack there of. Racing is racing and when it comes to circle track theres only one sure thing left turns

As a spotter you are supposed to call that out as soon as the guy from behind is even looking to the inside. Also the 24 came down on Leo and pushed him down into Steve in the 27. Leo was doing great. It was really just a racing incident and honestly, in replay, it was more on the 24 turning down into Leo than anything. Sucks he got knocked out. Too bad Doug's car just gave up on him too he was looking prime to make a run. Can't believe the Andersons watch you guys. That's f'ing awesome.

I agree 100%. Kyle shouldn't have come down on Leo, in retrospect. He made first contact. There was nothing that Leo could have done. Steve had a good run out of the last turn. Leo and Steve held their lines. It was a racing incident... It definitely wasn't intentional, but Kyle messed up there. Kyle didn't know how tight things were below him... you can't see everything. It's just racing.

I don't think anyone is really to blame, but if you had to blame someone, it's definitely not the SxS crew. Leo would have had to stand on the brakes for two seconds before it all happened, if he could have avoided it. Nobody is going to do that. Professional racers crash every day, it's just part of it.

Leo isn't responsible for Kyle dropping on him, and Leo hit Steve because of Kyle doing that... If you hit someone, and push them into another person, it's not that third person's fault for being there. It's just racing... hindsight is always 20/20. I'm glad Steve (and everyone else) is ok.

Who didn’t tell Leo there was a car low? Ultimately it’s the 24 that failed racing etiquette. Steve Morris had the low line by getting to the door. That means you move up and the 24 gets the shaft by getting the 3rd slow lane. They failed. Without spotters that’s a no blame racing accident. The 24 had no idea and went for lane 2 where Leo already was.

I watched the video back many times and Kyle and I ran that same line for several laps prior to this. With the containment seat and horrible mirrors I didn’t even see Steve Morris until he was flying around me. Hindsight there was probably a millisecond I could have slowed down quick or something to prevent that. But ultimately it was just an accident. I don’t have anything bad to say about it at all.

I have to say after watching the accident over many many times in slow-mo I would have to agree and it does appear as if something caused the 24 to abruptly go left a bit and carnage followed. It is why they call them accidents and is to be expected. TBH im very surprised at how well everyone does at these events, taking into consideration the varying levels of experience with roundy round racing amongst the field being from very to none at all theres bound to be some Oh shits.
