Motivation is manipulation... period. Don't play games and act like you aren't manipulating. Either people like and agree to be manipulated or they don't... and that usually is determined by whether the manipulator/motivator is walking in love or not. Our people will never have the same exact goals or rewards as we do, but we have a job to do and our people have a job to do. Manipulation can be positive or negative depending on how it's received. God manipulates us, and God instructs us to manipulate our stewardship to reap benefits and profits or you are not a good steward. It's how we do what we do that makes the difference.
