Yeah he did, and you were playing as Nathan Drake, playing Crash. And he didn't even know HOW to play the PS1. He barely even knew that he was playing Crash. He had to ask Elena(his wife), to HELP him play the FIRST level, and get past the first enemy. And you don't even have to die to the first enemy while playing that part. You can keep going. I think you get a slightly different scene if you do it right. But yes, let it stated for the record; that Nathan Drake, plays classic Crash Bandicoot, on PS1; better than His Majesty, King Pig Roach. But at least he has fun playing it with his wife. At least Nate isn't an annoying idiot, like King Philbert, The First. Nate, in the Uncharted games, at least isn't as sore of a loser as Dave Syde Dave. He at least knows that he died, and would try to improve himself. Because he matures throughout the Uncharted series. Philbert the Phailbert, would just do what he did here, and scream: "There's nothing I could do, dood!" before snorting a 100 times. And also, Nathan Drake is a great character, who's pretty much the game equivalent to Indiana Jones, and as close as you can get to being a real life treasure hunter/explorer, as long as you aren't counting the easily forgettable and awful movie.

Road to Nowhere was my absolute favorite level back in the day. Used to go back and replay it just for fun . So glad to see Phil struggle and suffer through it because he refuses to make basic observations and figure out simple timings. Big ups, 0utsyder. Even after all this time, it's still gold.

Crash is my favorite ps1 game. I'm not the best at it by a long shot, but I have never been killed by the first enemy in the game. Nobody I know, all 2 people, have been killed by it either. There's a lot of other things you could have made counters for here: "Phew" counter (which mind you sounds fake as shit when he says it) "Pressed it" counter "Too hard" counter Etc I don't mean that as in you should have shoved all the counters in, but he does so many things repeatedly this playthrough is probably going to be a bit more infamous than some of his other playthroughs. That said, leave it to Phil to actually get crushed by doors and make a kid's game look hard as fuck...Yet he's going to play 2 because he's being paid to do it despite saying he hated the game for being "unfair and inconsistent" Here's to more TIHYDPs from you and other great editors m8. My fav part #1 DSP gettin' trolled by chat-- ( @ 1:47:40 Phil finally realizes there are no early save points, jokes on me!) This zen moment comes after he reaches "the home stretch". He takes a long break at this point, shortly after bitching that he couldn't stand replaying an hour if he doesn't find a save soon. So, he returns from break 5 and gives a monologue about how he could cheat and get a password, but, (key moment) "I'm doing it legit! No cheese for DSP ! Just gotta replay the first stage for a legit save!" Will this save Phil time? Of course not. After who knows how many levels searching (many) he reaches that glorious 1:47:40. There is no spoon...er save. Thank you, thank you, Chat.

Holy crap just the first island (35 minutes) he had more than one game over and that painful montage of the final climb... I was becoming seven when I first played this and I doubt I sucked this much. My children and younger siblings also never sucked this awfully in the remakes. Yeesh this is painful as someone who played the original trilogy with my older brother. To be fair, I can't blame him for not 100%-ing the OG version because that one requires you to *not die at all, period.* No excuses in the N. Sane version though, not even for the mandatory perfect stages. Also in the OG you can't save other than the Tawna bonus stages; the remake autosaves after every level and you can save at any point in the map. Crash 2 and 3 still have that one screen.
