He also mentions that giant dog thing killing him in two hits, it was actually three and honestly that is pretty much fine you can take a hit or two and be fine as long as you dodge the next attack and heal. But I still beat the game many times on that console before getting a PS4 pro, you can deal with the issues, just calibrate your dodges to deal with it, just like you can learn the timing when dodges come out and adjust accordingly. It's astonishing that in this entire playthrough he could never train his reflexes to dodge correctly, better to just turtle behind a weak shield and complain about getting guardbroken constantly, or not block at all and get smacked in the face over and over

His IQ has gotta be like a half standard deviation above the borderline for "clinically retarded." Like 75, because 70 is considered "clinically retarded." Maybe 80, tops... It's obvious, because IQ is directly linked to a person's ability to learn and retain information, and how quickly they can do so. Phil can barely learn and retain ANYTHING, and what little he does, takes him FOREVER. This is also obvious from his lack of interest, or knowledge, of anything even associated with a normal level of cognition. Like books, art, politics, philosophy, etc... His sense of humor is also a sign of his lack of intelligence and depth. It exists entirely of lowest common denominator toilet humor. Nothing but dick and fart jokes, and terrible attempts at sexual humor that closely resembles that of a 9-11 year old boy going through puberty, trying to be edgy. Him naming his in-game characters ridiculously stupid childish names like "Dumass," and "McButtface." is definitely a huge sign of his IQ, and mental maturity, or rather lack thereof. Also, his ability to never take responsibility for any of his actions no matter what, resembles behavior similar to that of even a younger child. He is really an interesting specimen of a human being.

I find myself trying to limit edits to only the most obscene fails, but there are literally thousands of fails in this playthrough - it's legitimately difficult trying to condense it to a normal TIHYDP length. Great job on these though, really liked the first and second parts. Set a high benchmark for my own project to hopefully reach!

One of the things I've never been able to comprehend about Phil is how not a single mistake can be his. It's always the controller or the game or the console or the lag or whatever possible explanation he can come up with that's not "My fat fingers accidentally hit the Item button instead of roll" or "My reflexes aren't perfect, and I fucked up the timing there." The inability to take any sort of responsibility for his failures is the reason why DSP is the joke that he is. AND THE WORST THING HE DOSE BY FAR IS... complain like a little bitch the entire time he plays the game and acts like he could do a better job at the game because of stupid shit he is doing. Good job on not over using comments and not adding too much unecessary stuff. I prefer my TIHYDPs to focus more on Phil's failures rather than distractions. About the actual playthrough, I honestly prefer this to his DS2 one in which he overelied on Lightning Spears. For better or worse, Phil relied more on his (lacking) natural skill instead of grinding which makes this even more fun to watch. The Gundyr arc was hilarious too. Since Phil relied more on skill than in other Souls playthrough, he ended up fucking up and dying a lot more which explains why this one is a 2 parter. So far, this is my favorite TIHYDP of the year.
