As someone who has about 1000 hours in all the soulsborne franchise, seeing all the animations and enemies compiled into one game is the truest love letter to these games I could ever think of. The creators of Archthrones truly know what makes these games fun, and decided to add to the already great formula in a way that’s just genuinely fun. Love this mod!

@@billywayne1007 Honestly I don't think it's his voice that makes it bad (though I admit hearing such a recognizable voice can break immersion), but the fact that the editor for his voice just didn't do anything to it. In Dark Souls, characters' voices have this weird echo-like effect, and ones with helmets or masks have it muffled slightly. While the editor has replicated these effects very well for every other character, they're absent for the Keeper. The only reason I can imagine they would do this is because they just REALLY wanted people to know it was Vaati.

Him being vaati is kinda silly but the Keeper of the Old Gods boss looks so so cool to fight. There are others that have a cooler character design, but I love how fast and aggresive he is.

Trust me, he wasn't very fun at all. Balancing on release was utterly horrendous and he was in a constant go mode that made fighting him very very rough. The Sekiro and Elden Ring bosses are for the most part not adjusted at all to suit DS3's combat pacing and it shows. I ended up cheesing him with the Lothric Knight Greatsword's charged attack, which when fully charged would knock him down repeatedly. The mod is very pretty and has good ideas but the balancing is so beyond fucked.

The Heide Phoenix is a good example of gamers not understanding FromSoft's amazing boss design. Just because you added more crazy attacks and the boss *never stops attacking*, doesn't mean the boss is more fun or challenging in a meaningful way. That "Prime Radahn" fake boss fight someone made is a great example of this as well.
