I found your videos when researching design styles. I had no ideas what Scandinavian Design style was but watched a bunch of videos and then yours was suggested. I realized it is not my aesthetic and I am more Parisian Traditional/Traditional. But, I do think that most people don’t have a design POV. They are just buying a bunch of stuff and hoping it works well together. It is why I love your design videos. And for anyone who thinks tradition design style and OUTDATED are the same. Um, it’s not. All the tips here can be applied to a traditional design style. Every last one of them!!!!

Use modern picture frames and pillows. Simple paint color with little to no print on the pillows. But find your aesthetic. Some people are more modern and minimalistic. Others are drawn to a more bohemian, maximalist design style.

Right on time! Glad I caught this! My apartment has new carpet. It's low pile and a medium gray. The walls are light gray. But the dining room, kitchen and bathrooms have a laminate floor. It's like wood grain looking, white washed gray. That being said, I'm looking for new living room furniture. Would you suggest a couch with accent chairs? Or is it too dated to get a matching living room suit that's a couch, love seat and chair? Oh and I am refinishing a LOT of our furniture pieces. Super excited to do this. Another quick question. Our bathroom mirrors are just those flat rectangular ones. Do you think putting a frame around them would help make them look better?

I would spend a lot of time looking for two chairs you absolutely love and a sofa you absolutely love! Getting a matching furniture set is easy but you can explore more of your personal style when search for complimenting styles rather than matching! I think adding a frame around your mirror would be a great idea!! 🥰 good luck with your decorating journey!
