I actually just moved into a loft as well! Custom curtains are really expensive and most curtains only go up to 120 inches! I would say get the longest curtains possible before having to go custom!

I always loved fur rugs and I made the mistake of buying a huuuuge one for my apartment. It is so impractical and hard to clean and i don’t even like sitting in my living room because I can’t stand the thought of debris getting into the carpet and I don’t know how to clean it. It was like $500 and I don’t even think I could sell it because who would actually want this huge fur cream colored rug. Maybe black but cream? Huge mistake ☹️

Obviously, your style is in tune with what men like in being minimalist because generally don't care about all the glam look when you're a bachelor when your married men have to put up with the glam look. Some women go overboard with the glam look it becomes clutter and again men have to put up with it to spare their feelings lol.
