Don’t be too hard on yourself when you don’t find as much time to paint with a new baby…it will come! I have actually gotten much better at time management as a mom of littles…I’m much more efficient and I take advantage of the fact my son still naps, and both my kids go to bed before 8 pm 😁 Parents find ways! 2024 was a tough year for a lot of us but best of luck in all your new business ventures in 2025. That’s a beautiful painting btw and don’t be afraid to price accordingly 😁

I’ve had people ask me how I feel about letting go of my originals. I just love that someone loves them. But I do have a picture of my cat that I love so so much! I will never sell that. As for pricing I try to keep it at a per square inch. Takes out emotions. As for that major piece your working on, have you considered putting the original up for sale while simultaneously offering silkscreen copies of the same painting for budget options? You might end up getting some interesting feedback that way.

@LironYan Let me ask you this then. What do you have in common with musicians, novelists, sculptors, poets, etc etc?? You generate, create and produce art that is of a highly competitive quality. Just as musicians have to get their music out their to establish a fan base big enough and interested enough to make a living, you're going to have to do the same. By utilizing prints, this guarantees that much more of your art gets out there, in homes across the world. When people have guests over, those people (who may know nothing of art) will see your work. When business investors gather for meetings, they may say one of your prints in someone's office. The more homes and businesses your work appears in (prints or originals), the stronger the illusion becomes that you're much bigger than you are...for now. It won't be long before this illusion becomes reality. Prints are a good thing (just like copies of a music album, or copies of a book....Neither of whom ever sell their originals btw, because they can't. That's one freedom painters have that other artists types don't have)...and they'll cause the price ,that art enthusiasts are willing to pay, to skyrocket. As a watercolor artist, you are ultimately an illusionist. Take the illusionist skills you've learned from watercolor, and translate them into business strategy. Make yourself appear better known and widespread than you are. If the people don't realize it's an illusion, they believe it's reality...and if they believe that, your illusion is going to become reality for you.

A few thoughts: JPS Tanakh 1917: A man's heart deviseth his way; But the LORD directeth his steps. The LORD is with you. Look to him. Family is priority and you are seeking the right track to secure your financial future. Keep seeking and asking the LORD for your next steps. Your artistic progression has been such a joy to watch and I've learned so much along the way. I bought the drawing course and FFW course several years ago. It's time to buy the Realism course! It's exciting to see your work accepted into prestigious contests.....it means your steps are directed. Keep going. Healthy food for Ruth a big thumbs up! Yes! 😁 I have already uploaded a new lesson to the Frustration Free Watercolor course, and I plan to do the same soon for the Watercolor Realism course (: All who already own them, as well as those who join now and after the price increase will see the new lessons. As for business coaching - it’s a saturated niche and it’s not my specialty (though I often wish I’ve had that superpower too haha 😅). I did consider doing something more specific, like social media and content for artists. But we’ll see in the future (: Thank you so much 😊
