Alex, what if I tell you that this song is actually a COVER? The song originally was written in Russian by the dude called Radio Tapok, who is famous in Russian KZbin for the russian covers of foreign songs and for rubric “in style of”. “Defense of Moscow” is actually from a video “Writing a song in style of Sabaton”. The band then noticed this song and asked Radio Tapok for cover in English. That’s insane 😂

Another nice touch to this song is the lyric, "All the brave, who stand against, the typhoon wave" refers to the German codename for the assault on Moscow, Operation Typhoon. Also, how cool was it to add the Soviet National Anthem during the guitar part. Epic friggin' song!
