the burger mount is used to get more flex from screw mounted boards so that it sounds better

nah it doesnt give more flex, it just isolates some vibration from the plate to the bottom case so it sounds and feels a bit of more consistent

Burger mount + foam is contradictory; the burger mount is meant to give it a “gasket mounted” feel without gaskets but since you put foam in there, there isn’t much room for the keyboard to flex. Honestly you should’ve gone and done the tape mod, a thin layer of foam on the bottom, burger mount, and maybe tune/lube your stabs. Also no sound test is stupid asf how are we gonna know if you did a good job.

side legend keycaps are generally better on south facing leds, and the wooting has north facing. how's the led shine with those keycaps? do they still light up pretty well since the top of the switch is clear?

It will affect tachyon mode, it’s not something I have on since I don’t feel the difference with it on or off. Rapid trigger works completely fine, and that mode is the most important to me

You can’t use tacheon mode which is the whole point of the wooting keyboard with a coiled cable tho. This is dumb

The main point of the wooting is the Rapid Trigger. Tachyon mode is def a really dope way of increasing the responsiveness but I didn’t feel a difference with it on or off. You can simply just not get a coiled cable if you really want tachyon mode.

It really depends on how many and what kind of switches and the method of lubing. I can easily lube 90 linears for 2 hours but ir will take me 4 hours for tactiles

hand lubing it with krytox 205g0 makes it slightly smoother, although i wouldn't recommend it if you already have prelubed switches especially after doing 3 whole boards worth of switches myself just for some minor improvements 😭😭
