I remember doing the very same thing when I was guiding out of Port Mansfield to, it is a grind, but now I’m retired from guiding, and I just fish for the pure enjoyment of the sport. 🤘🏼

Thanks for the info. I've never fly fished salt water. Fly fishing for them would be awesome. I am a beginner with a fly rod, and tying flies. I am self taught. I need to learn "how to" fly fish from the shore or on the jetty rocks here in Texas. I don't have a boat. Have you ever fly fished the jetties, a pier, and/or the surf? That is probably where I would have to begin fly fishing salt water. or I'd have to buy a boat. LOL. Thanks for you awesome videos. keep on keeping on!
