Leave the little parts sealed in the bag, with soap & water. Then fill the ultrasonic tank with plain water. Cleans just as well, but won't schmutz up the machine with foul swill.😎

Happy Saturday Sarah!!! Yeah, Site 5 and EOD's blast site is less than a mile across the road and through the desert from your shop, we get treated to those loud blasts from time to time,as well as pops and bangs from the firing range, and because of those we also get Revile at 0700 and The National Anthem at 1700 on weekdays. 'MERICA!!😁 High5 to Charlie and Angel!! Glad to see the Crown Vic again, transmission fixed I assume. Stay excellent!!!😎

Those faded carpet areas? Wash with iso alc, let it dry, then do about 3 super light coats of SEM Color Coat (landau black). If you don't want to go all over the floor parts, then do first coat to the floor, and each coat after that a little less so it blends/fades. Works great on cloth seats too!

If you do end up having to pull the dash out to install the new pedal box you may want to go ahead and replace the heater core and evaporator (if it is an A/C car) while you have it apart. I believe both parts are pretty inexpensive if you can find them for the car and are both probably really easy with the dash out of the way.

I got a set of magnetic socket adapters off amzaon, they look just like an adapter for changing sizes, but dont change the size, instead they go right before you put on the socket, and have a magnet in them, it holds the bolts in the socket for hard to get to places. Put that thing on wheels, and take it outside when you need to pressure clean something, keeps the shop clean of vapors, and might also help you see with the sun light.

i worked in Toyota parts during that time, we found out the hard way, USED japanese motors were being sold in the US, and many times werent interchangable, The Supra crankshafts were different between US and Japan, so front pulleys and accys wouldnt fit. Other parts were affected as will. Sorry Sarah.

Too many comments to read do this may have already been mentioned: to ease clean up of your ultrasonic cleaner, fill it with only hit water. Put the cleanser and parts in a zip lock baggie. The ultrasound waves will easily penetrate the baggie. The dirty cleanser and/or water is then simply disposed of.
