Internet Orthodoxy and Holy Orthodoxy are not the same thing. The former is the "orthodoxy" of the demons, absent love and humility, submitting to no one but one's own pride/ the latter is the Orthodoxy of the saints and angels, full of love and empty of the self. God, help us to enter into the latter.

I really like what you said and i find that the more i explore the Orthodoxy the more my heart feels transformed. Honestly, i always used to talk to God that if we could do miracles for people like the righteous Apostles, then they would know the Lord is real. I love St. Seraphim of Sarov and now i finally understood what he meant by that thru this video. It's only thru a peaceful spirit that people can receive miracles from our presence. Sometimes that really is all that's necessary and sometimes people really do need to break out of strongholds and beliefs that aren't helping them. St. Kosmas was a great evangelist and there were so many others. Talking to people without devilish intent to make them feel bad is so valuable. I wouldn't be able to break out of Islamic belief systems if no one explained anything to me of why it's wrong. I think if we all talk with love about the Truth we can advance the Kingdom of God. Also, everyone has different gifts. Not everyone can talk and reason with someone about their beliefs. Some people are much better at healing their problems and bringing thousands to Christ that way. I believe both are valuable. But if we want to talk, we should learn to talk with fear and trembling not to create stumbling blocks. Thank you so so much for this important reminder for us all! 🙏

Thank you. You're wise. What is worst than killing someone by trying to save him ? And how ridiculous it is. We're not all expert surgeons. Most of us are more like nurses. We can easily out of habbit and experience put a diagnosis on someone's soul but few of us can propose a sound treatment. It makes me remember the "The wise man speaks because he has something to say; fools speak because they have to say something" famous proverb on the net. Let's be careful and remember that only God can fix blindness of spirit while any sinner could easily distinguish who had blindness when the Lord walked among us and make different hypothesis about how may they or their parents have deserved them this misfortune. Only God could make from a blindman a seer of the secret divinity of the God-Man and a forerunner of true worship. God can make miracles. Let's beg for his mercy on account of our brothers like the jews did for the Roman soldier who was a benefactor of their synagogue. Let's have hope in God's tenderness toward our fellow brother and that he Will hear our prayer. If by gaining our brother we loose our humility, what is the benefit for us ? Is there even any ? Are we fooling ourselves instead . Let's seek for the Kingdom of heaven and justice and believe everything has to arrive according to God's will and when he Wills. We're servants, not master. The Master is God. We have to be ready to obey. The least among you will be the best in the kingdom said He. Let's not compromise our salvation for the seek of pride. If our neighbours ask for help let's help them for what we can and humbly adress our self-limitations. How can we heal as we're sick as well ? Why not instead to recommend the hospital we're going to and trust The Physician ? I personnaly feel this is our duty. Witnessing our shortcomings and the Majesty of our Leader is a confession of faith. God will see it and if this sacrifice is pleasant to Him, he might benevolently, Him who doesn't need anything, receive it and eventually share his benevolence to our brother. Only love cures. The Bible says "God is love" and Jesus means Gods treats.

Thank you brother, for this video. Am Roman Catholic and we do have disagreeing beliefs. Ecumenism is strongly frowned upon in Orthodoxy (Eastern) as I have seen, and Anglicanism belief of all churches that follow the one and true Triune God surely is not okay (because Protestants, Mormons, Baptist church beliefs). We cannot surely compromise to form one church (ecumenical) because we do have disagreeing beliefs. However we cannot do anything due to said disagreeings. I also am conflicted with the Filioque, because it was added without proper argument. What I am certain of is the potency of the Иисусова Молитва/Jesus Prayer. Surely you are filled with the Holy Spirit. God bless you Brother, may we see each other in heaven.

I'm an Eastern Catholic. I think an important and mature trait that needs to be developed in the faithful is a sense of religious tolerance. Roman Catholic beliefs do not speak to us, they do not form our expression of faith, but it is people in both camps both among the laity and in the clergy in the pulpits and high seats who personally choose to make the beliefs of the other apostolic churches into a disagreement and a divisive issue (for diverse and varied reasons, good and bad). In any case, it's good to pray. We can't find the light of God without the authoritative teaching of the Church and its sacraments, and it's precisely by these means that He has revealed Himself to us. The question for us though is, "What exactly is so authoritative from the Church that it requires division from our brothers and sisters and dismissal of others' understanding of God and theology?" I think, if those in favor of the schism from both of our churches look at the issue very carefully, we will find a few issues we disagree upon, but among few issues, many will not be so authoritative that we can not put aside our differences.

@@lancemichael1598 the problem is that Ecuminism is not going to solve it. And Bartholomew for example, the patriarch of Constantinople declared himself the head of all Churches. He who puts himself on the head of the Church puts Christ asside. We don't give them attention but they need our prayers. There are too many Schism I agree. But when you like to stay true to the way of that specific creed and not get a "head" other then Jesus the Christ our Lord and God. It will only result in Protestantism.. schisms and that one that doesn't change is staying true to what it believes. It is not easy to water down that wine, to say "lets give in to manmade changes or power structures that are made after the first Schism.

Glory be to God! This is something my spiritual father has said to us in many homilies, and it is of such importance when orthodoxy, special in countries like mine where it barely reaches a minuscule size of society, is lived so that we do not, ever, lose sight no matter how surrounded we are of those who do not share our faith, to love, and that we, even by the dozens amongst hundreds of thousands of non-orthodox, may truly become beacons of light and give fertile ground upon which true confessors of the faith may arise, giving testimony to those around. This was a very great reminder, brother, for we really often forget, as you said in the last part, just how important love is in the greatest commandments of our Lord, truly the lover of mankind.

2:15 But this is the same charge of us Protestants against both "apostolic" faiths (infact no extant chruches are apostolic; since all churches are now post nicean/chalcedonian, never pre-nicean at all). If any one faith claims to have supremacy over the other, not granting Christians possible salvation by individual faith; declaring God supreme Judge far above any manmade denomination; then they prove themselves to be antichrist. And most Christians, even Churchfathers, somehow fall under this category regarding their loveless politisizing behaviour.
