As a Kashmiri Pandit one thing should be clear it’s failure of state as well as majority ie KMs who were responsible for our genocide. ‘Asy banawaw pakistan bataw warey batnyan saan’ …i guess even a illiterate will understand that a non Kashmiri wont be shouting these cuss words and that too a mob in thousands. So this facade of brotherhood has to be negated…even before migration there used to be multiple incidents, sporadically that clearly indicated the intent of majority. There are KMs who know the reality and have a good intent but unfortunately they are very few in number, i guess one in a thousand.

Article 370 gave India only a limited say in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir , including Ladakh , which suited both China and Pakistan . China was always a player in the so called Kashmir dispute overtly only between India and Pakistan. China wanted Ladakh to link up with Pakistan and the Shaksgam valley . State Govt of Jammu and Kashmir , including Ladakh , was sympathetic to Pakistan ‘s and ultimately to China ‘s interests , especially in Ladakh. Example Late Sheikh Abdullah refused to allow His Holiness The Dalai Lama and his followers to settle in Ladakh when they took refuge in India . Ladakh was most suitable for Tibetans both from climate and cultural points of views. India ‘s direct control over both Kashmir and Ladakh has put an end to the China - Pakistan collusion .

Since when Muslims of J&K become spokesperson for all stakeholders of J&K . That is why Ladakhi sought independence from Kashmir and they achieved it because they wanted it under the constitution of India . You are talking nonsense as accession treaty was done by Maharaja a common format made by all princely states . While Art 370 was given without approval of the parliament and that too under pressure by Sheikh Abdullah opposed by Dr Ambedkar so temporary provision was introduced. There is no separate identity of kashmiri because identity comes with language and kashmiri don't have separate official mother tongue like Gujarati or Bengali oe Tamil etc . They only want independence because of religion and history has shown that the country cannot be created on the basis of religion otherwise Pakistan wouldn't had broken merely after 30 years of getting independence .

with due respect I don't agree with his point that it was immoral approach of India to sign accession treaty with Maharaja Hari singh but if you look the other way around that India at that time couldn't go to war with Pakistan without any reason specially after the United nations formation recently. I know Kashmiris should be free to choose India and Pakistan from Kashmiri perspective most of them will choose Pakistan now as your tone saying that you are unhappy with India or you don't feel India had done enough for the people of Kashmir. But you should be aware of other factors as well which is Pakistan. I am also fed up with the conflict and high military budget and loss of people lives. India currently is on the peak of religious nationalism which is bad for a diverse country like india but I think it will get on the right track of what its founders had thought of. Indias foundation is inclusive right now it doesn't look inclusive but a nation or a building stands on its foundation so india will have to come on the right track before it collapse. I think people are understanding it slowly with the alternative media and progressive societies are coming forward to rescue india.

Why were the names of so many places in Kashmir Islamised? Kashmir ko Islamic jab banaya tab toh Modi RSS aur BJP dur dur tak Delhi ke aaspaas bhi nahi tha? Iska jawab denge Mehdi sahab? Bhai India was secular and is secular even if you do not say so because it is majority Hindu who did not cull Muslims post partitions while Pakistan kept killing Hindus till 1965. That was the basic reason. Not this BS logic that India was secular because half-radical Kashmiris were made to join India.
