I feel like one of the few warriors fans that appreciates Dun Leavy’s moves, didnt over sell for Lauri and we have a lot of Depth, this reminds me of 2022, Steph at the helm with several players that play their role perfectly. We can possibly contend for another championship but everyone is going to have to lock in.

Steph isnt just the best shooter of all time, but hes the best SCORER of all time and the fact that people cant see this just blows my mind There is no human who can put the ball in the basket better that Steph and now that the Dubs have better scoring and defense around him, this team is gonna be scary

At this point, if you can't acknowledge that with Draymond Green limiting the team, the Warriors are going nowhere, you are delusional.
@tribalypredisposed4 сағат бұрын
Draymond is too old for his style of play on defense to work great, but the real facts are that ten plus years of drafting 28-30 in the first round cannot be overcome. The other teams, at least a few of them, will end up with more talent. OKC, for example, has. Unless the Warriors get Paulo Banchero for Wiggins and then Evan Mobley for TJD, the Warriors are not beating OKC in a series this year, next year, the year after…
@michaelsilberg90594 сағат бұрын
@@tribalypredisposed Not only is Draymond too old for his style of play, he's single handedly turned the Warriors from most desirable to least desirable for players wanting to develop to their highest potential. Playing too well and outshining Draymond consistently proves fatal.
@iamkailong2 сағат бұрын
yup, the second best player in the team, is definitely limiting the team. still I agree, Warriors is going nowhere if there isn’t any trade or major signing this season.
@lalremruatpuiarenthlei46655 сағат бұрын
When Steph and Dray are together on the court, they're still one of the best line up, but they can't play the whole 48 min. Need a legit second scoring option.

I understand the idea here and would love it if you were right. But I don’t see the Warriors beating OKC this year or for a while, Dallas is a serious threat, Minnesota can smack most teams around, and the Spurs are going to be a dark horse for a deep playoff run this season. Denver still has some potential too. At this point the Warriors have one top ten guy in Curry, one guy we hope will be top twenty five this year in Kuminga, and a bunch of guys whose realistic ceilings are maybe top fifty, but most will be slightly above league average at their primes, at best. That still makes them amazing players, but I don’t see the difference makers on defense or offense, besides Curry and Kuminga, who get this team to the Finals. Just look at the OKC roster, so many young guys that no one talks about maybe they can make that next leap, because they were already there last year or two years ago. No sane person can compare the two rosters and not admit that OKC has way more offense, way more defense, way more depth. And this is what is supposed to happen to dominant teams like the Warriors were who draft at the bottom of the first round ten out of eleven years or whatever it was. This is what the draft system is supposed to result in.

The biggest issue of this off season is doing the water trade too prematurely. Literally ever other transaction after that made it looked worse. We had to give back more assets just to grab the 52nd pick back but now can't even sign post a player we need because players like waters and gui takes up all the minimum contract space...
@kennethc.29214 сағат бұрын

If Jackson Davis gets at least 35 min a game and Kuminga plays small forward they’ll make it to the western finals. But since Kerr prefers playing small ball with Kuminga as a center, they’ll be a play-in team again. Wiggins should come off the bench for 15 min max. He’s a liability as much as Kerr is. And Don’t bring up Kerr’s number of titles. Other than having the best shooter ever, he’s also had Draymond which is a combo of Magic &Rodman. Not mentioning KD who’s the most talented player ever, Klay, and others.

If Steph does ‘22 form. Podz matches 40% on 6-8 attempts. Kum bucket takes another step on both ends. Wiggs does something. Dray just doesn’t ruin it. We have a chance at a 2nd round or conference championship run. Past that though we’d probably have to trade moody/TJD/GP2/loon/wiggs plus all our picks for a star

Yeah, and small ball worked with young fast players taking advantage of lumbering centers and power forwards of yesteryear. But those players are not so young anymore and the centers and power forwards are fast, and long. Chet and Wemby both are kryptonite to small ball, able to defend the perimeter and recover to the rim if the guard gets past. Jokic has the goods on offense to stay on the floor. The twin towers in Minnesota have been working well too. Bpodz lacks the size they need at guard on defense and offense. It doesn’t matter if he can shoot 45% from three this year, he cannot switch onto forwards without them having shooting practice over him. All the other guards…it is a collection of too small.
