I agree with Elio, because in the Eurovision Song Contest the band wasn’t playing for real. In Sanremo they played their instrument plus the aids of an amazing orchestra and his strings! The San Remo version is the best ever.

Do you want to know everything?! Well, now here in Italy it is quite late in the night. I can start and, may be, someone else will continue. Victoria (bass), Thomas (guitar) and Damiano (singer) went to the same middle school in Rome. They decided to form a band and looked for a drummer on facebook. And so Ethan arrived. They started playing together, but they didn't have a name. They asked Victoria (her mother was Danish) to say random things in Danish and chose to be called Maneskin (moonlight). They participated in some competitions, buskers in the streets of Rome, grew up a bit ... and then, when they were between 16 and 18, in 2017, they decided to participate at X Factor Italia. One of my favourite songs of theirs is In Nome Del Padre and someone just put english subs to their 1Live performance of it- I highly recommend. Maneskin are a stunning band- this song is actually one they first covered aged 16-18 on their like 2nd week of Italian X Factor. They're now aged 20-22 and their original songs are so good. Just search their name on youtube and you will find pretty much every performance is this level.

Y'all know this is a cover right? In the late sixties Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons first recorded it and then from that point forward there's been about 30 covers of this song. The next most popular was from Norwegian duo called Madcon really sometime around 2004 I think. But then in 2017 when this Young band entered the X Factor Italia show they were given this song to do as one of their first covers. And recently somehow, someone picked it up and made it on a Tik Tok video and it's now been a global hit for like the last 2 or 3 months! I've seen many of their live performances and you know a lot of groups are great in the studio but can't pull off that same vibe live! But these guys ? HOLY HELL! WE CAN EXPECT A LOT OF GREAT THINGS FROM THIS BAND IN THE FUTURE! FACTS!

It is all about legal protection and really a good idea for all concerned parties. Being sued is no fun!
