I'm the one who asked to reduce the number at the beginning, the tribe contained 16 residents and the construction time was as slow as possible so it had to be reduced to make it playable in 10 000BC.

I absolutely love the Jean M Auel books and have them all on paper and on audio they are fascinating. I do get a bit sick of Jondalar’s big blue eyes, (not being a very romantic woman)! However, the ideas of how soap, flint etc were discovered is enthralling, as is the idea of the Neanderthal, Cro magnon types of proto humans living alongside one another. This game looks interesting, you got me back into Stranded Deep and you may have persuaded me to buy another game today!

Haven’t had a chance to play this yet (have to get a better pc) but I’m an avid Dawn of Man player. I’m wondering where the tribe in this video is getting their water? Do they have to go to the water to drink in this game?

It's been a little while since I have stepped foot into this world, but to my knowledge I do not believe they require a well, or even nearby water. I don't remember this being a thing that required fixing anyways. I hear you on the Dawn of man, such an Amazing Game!

I read clan of the cave bear as well. I got through most of them but have not finished the series... Really should get back into it and finish the series. I did not realize where exactly in the world it was set though... Interesting stuff
