What people are overlooking, Mike Tyson wants to fight AGAIN. At the end of his career, he was fighting to pay bills. "Wanting to fight" Mike is dangerous regardless of his age. After he beats Paul he may do regular fights again. Age does not matter. One correction: the KZbinrs and boxers NEVER get into the MMA ring in return. I’m not Jake Paul fan and I couldn’t find a toss watching JP fights but this one I will watch, for no other reason so see a man battle the aging process and win without non stop training since youth. Without doubt one of the hardest things you’ll can do in you can life. Tyson must be in all sorts of pain everyday but he’s really going to go ahead and have a go and if he can do it maybe it will inspire others to also take a physical and mental risk they maybe thought had passed them by.

People are talking like Mike is elderly. To some people, age is just a number. I have a neighbor who spent his carrier in the military. He’s 66 years old, not an ounce of fat on him, still competes in Ironman events and wins them! This is a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride and finished up by running 26.2 miles. He’s up the next day working in his yard or gardening! Insane! I think Mike has that same mental drive and certainly has the skill set. I will be very surprised if Mike doesn’t give Jake a serious reality check.

So there’s been some changes in the rules for this fight. No headgear 14oz gloves…btw you can still KO Someone with this weight glove..the extra padding is to protect the hands from breaks, not the opponent’s head. Eight 2min rounds. Fight has been upgraded to a professional bout so the result goes on the fighter’s record. I dunno, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want this fight to happen but now that it’s inevitable I just want Mike to knock the crap out of Paul. In all probability the fight is fixed to some degree BUT there’s always the chance that Mike sees this as his final chance to bow out with a win to end his career. If Mike goes full rage mode early ( within the first 3 rounds ) Paul won’t know what’s hit him because he’ll be unconscious on the floor. If it goes 5-6+ rounds then stamina would ( probably ) be a big issue for Mike. GO MIKE

As one might be able to tell, im a huge tyson fan. However, i see major stiffness in his movements that look like they stem from the back. He isnt punching anywhere near as hard as he was even a few years ago on the heavybag. I really hope he can get to at least the level he was at vs jones. He was moving and punching nicely despite pulling his head shots.

I think it will be good for him to test him self and go out on his shield like a true fading warrior. His interview with sugar ray was honestly amazing and it’s one of my favorite podcasts. But essentially Mike said he’s been feeling soft in his old age and wants to test himself. I think this is bigger than money.

i kinda have to agree on Floyd on this one. Not that Mike would lose, but theres a high chance that there's a signed contract where Mike wont be allowed to steamroll Jake. As much as I dislike Mayweather, he should know better, he fought knocked out Logan Paul, but had to clinch him so Logan wont fall to the floor.
