For those wondering why this kid didn't contact law enforcement himself before this happened - it has to be better teaching. he wasn't the only student here who knew all of these warning signs. Teachers saw warning signs and were helpless to prevent this. Somebody in the authority to have prevented this has obviously been contacted about this before the shooting and they didn't take enough action. it's unfortunate and now an entire community is dealing with tragedy. I hope that authority person is held accountable for their negligence and that new training comes out that will be more effective. Obviously training IS effective, because the teachers followed that training. The issue here is what was done with the information when the teachers did their part in reporting suspicious behaviors.

"This can happen anywhere." Facts! I've been in this state, into the Detroit Metro area for over five year; I believed that Oxford is one of the neighborhoods where as you wouldn't think you'll feel unsafe in.
