This isn’t just a shirt, this is the shirt my dad gave me when I was 4. It was his shirt. I basically grew up on construction jobs sites by his side. From pouring concrete for foundation, to putting on roofs, he’s done it all. He founded his construction company almost 50 years ago. This shirt was one of his very first work shirts, and I would wear it to bed nearly every night for as long as I can remember. He thought I threw it away years ago, but I’ve been saving it for a special time, and this Father’s Day was it. This post isn’t about an old shirt, it’s about a great dad. Who above anything else, taught me how to work hard and love people well. Thanks for being the best dad.
