@@Lezm I agree. I do think that Loki (Season 1 and 2) and Guardians 3 had great writing and a great story, but those are just few among a huge load of mediocre to bad products. I just hope Daredevil Born Again, Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four turns out to be great next year, to give DC a tough competition. But then again, those are just 3/9 projects that Marvel is putting out next year. Even Captain America 4 seems to be bad.

Snyder's version was totally different from what the other version portrayed so far. If the grounded concept was really that faulty, then I think the Miller's Dark Knight version shouldn't even exist; the sales, the love shown by people shows that it is a great concept, just requires delicate and intricate implementation. Anyway, stop doing loser shit by comparing Corenswet with Cavill's version. This is a really exciting start; don't temper it with different colors. Let the previous paintings be put in museum vaults and this one in show. I, myself, is really excited about this.

Trailer is cool, no doubt. But I don't care what anyone says, Man of Steel was and is the best Superman to date. Henry Cavill was wonderful as both characters. Just because he killed Zod (he literally had to or Zod would've destroyed the entire world at that point out of rage) doesn't mean he, "wasn't Superman". I look forward to this movie too though, but MOS will always be the epitome of the character, tone and all.

All well and good to applaud this iteration of Superman. But talking bad about Snyder's version doesnt make sense. Henry Cavill's superman was made for adults just like how some superman comics are targeted to an older audience. It's expected. I dont understand why people were so upset by his version simply because it had a "darker" tone. It was a Superman story regardless and it was told in a spectacular way imo. What I love about this trailer is the first shot of Superman is at his weakest. And the next shot where Superman shows his powers is not him beating up some bad guy. No, we are reminded this is the strong and powerful Superman by seeing him use his super speed and super strength in saving someone like a super hero. That was super awesome.

It would be no Superman, almost "at all" in this movie. It would be all about his friends and that means "every other character" except Superman, would be "influential" to the story. In this movie, anyone would be punching superman and make him bleed and everyone would be more intelligent even, choosing better solutions. Even the dog. Except Gardner. Gardner would be the "other stupid character", but gardner wouldn't have any development. Gardner just doesn't "learn anything". Superman is there to support the other chacarters and follow some "path". And in 2 years: Supergirl. And if Ultraman is in the movie, even him would show some "development". Villain to antihero or something like that. I wish the best of lucks fot the movie anyways.

Cavill's Superman really introduced me to the character and is my absolute favorite Superman. I'm still annoyed that we'll never get to see his story completed (idc what anyone says, Darkseid vs Superman with Snyder visuals would be breathtaking) That being said, I’m also intrigued and excited to see what they do with this Superman, and it is COMPLETELY VALID for people to ENJOY BOTH.
