after purchasing this scanner the elite model... my first job was to go into the comfort access and enable the mirrors to auto fold when the car was locked...well to my suprise even though the comfort access menu was avaiable each time i clicked it i got an error message asking me to check my cable connects and ignition status.. very frustrated with this scan tool..If anyone has a fix please let me know...

What's up Doc. I'd like to make a request. Could you please do a video on how to make the N54 more reliable? If heard too many people talking trash about it. My Uncle has owned his E90 335i since brand new. He's the only owner. He has had those issues pop up but only fuel pump and 2 injectors, but those happened years after he got the car. He's the type of guy to do as much work on his car as possible and as a result it still performs like brand new.

I would love too do that engine but we have a issue. It’s so played out and done on KZbin it’s ridiculous the N55 is much better then the N54 in my honest opinion and too be honest I’m getting to old to want to keep bending over BMWs. After my black E60 is done I plan to do no more BMWs I want a relaxed stress free life 😅 I’m going to be focusing on the electrical side and doing other things with the cars instead of mechanical.

That’s fine my friend if I was you why not look towards the N55 ? I mean that’s a good solid engine or the B58 which is much better then the N54 engine. The N54 is just a problem I mean if your planning to have it stock fine but if you want to modify it it’s going to be broke every week at the very least so I would go for something that you can modify and actually enjoy without breaking like the B58

@@BMWDoctor I'm not against the N55. In fact it was the one I wanted at first whoever any E9X with that engine is incredibly difficult to find and I don't know why. The N54 is much more common. I do more research on the N54 in case I can't get an N55, but if I get an N55. It's still a win. I know about the B58 and it's honestly superior to the 2 engines in every way, but the thing is. The E9X BMWs have a special place in my heart, because I grew up with that 3 series as dad owned one and we'd take long road trips with it. Also the 335i's only have N54 and N55 engines. I mostly want the car for personal reasons and I'm ready to handle any issue that comes along with it.

So please can you confirm if this tool is capable of tdi fuel injector coding of new injectors. Just been charged £600 by the RAC to fit a new Continental tdi fuel injector Which should only cost £330 brand new and code in new injector code into the ECU. So as you would imagine i am looking for a software tool capable of doing this myself, injectors only a 25min fit in most cases but then you need to change the code for the new fit injector

Work very good for DIY and home mechanic, if for workshop , you need ECM code and high end CAS car security for BMW and BENZ.

I don’t sell any of my 235 scan tools I’m sent I enjoy my collection and enjoy getting more. I just give any extras company’s send me as a giveaway for my subscribers which I get a lot to my friends.
