Very good video quality, smooth video, clean and simple editing and straightforward explanation. I'm subbing for sure. Just a small question for you. Have you ever tried the Steelcase Think V1? (465 version, this is how it was called) I have one used Think V1 nearby for like €75 euros, the Ticova is around €135 and I'm on the fence since I don't know which one to buy. The main point is that the european market is so bad and finding good value used chairs is much harder than in the States.
@sleeksetups11 күн бұрын
Definitely go for the Think V1. They're not even in the same ball park. In fact a lot of people find the older Think V1 more comfortable than the current Think V2. As long as the chair is in functional condition, it's gonna be a much better chair.

Weird how cheap chairs can come with decent headrests, yet high-end, expensive chairs come with crappy headrests. If they come with any headrest at all.
@sleeksetups28 күн бұрын
Very true. I think its because technically headrests are not completely necessary for proper ergonomics, so a lot of the higher-end chairs like the Steelcase Leap, Haworth Fern, and Herman Miller Aeron don't come with them by default. The headrests on the Leap and Fern seem like an afterthought despite the chair not being designed for it.
@Noneya555527 күн бұрын
I get that. But then those expensive ergonomic office chairs are always touted as great for gaming. That strikes me as somewhat odd, since actual gaming chairs usually come with headrests. Gaming chairs also usually come with deep recline, rocking and tilt lock (along with relatively limited ergonomics), which expensive office chairs don't provide.

@@Noneya5555 I think it really depends on what you're looking for when it comes to gaming. For hardcore gaming (particularly PC gaming) you're usually in a upright position anyways, in which case the chair with better ergonomics is going to be your best bet over a racing style gaming chair. Personally, I don't find too much value in having a recline that goes back 180 degrees for gaming since no one really games like that. Maybe for lounging, but even so I find it to be a gimmick for the most part unless you actually want to take a nap in your chair.

@ZAMtech1994 Thanks for the reply. I'm a pc gamer, but I also use my monitor to view media content. In other words, I'm doing more than simply sitting upright, playing games. I also like to take an occasional break from gaming and relax between sessions, without having to leave my chair. So the headrest, rocking and recline functions are not gimmicks for me, but useful features.

After seeing this and other review videos, i ordered the chair. It arrived 7 days ago and man it absolutely killed my lower back after 6 days. I tried adjusting the lumbar support, yet it just hurts more and more. Its way too agressive and just stings the back. Also the headrest gave a bit of neckpain aswell. I'm 5'8 also, so not on the taller end. No idea how this gets so many good reviews, i hate it and will return it the following days. My chair before this, is normal one my dad found outside and it never gave as much trouble as this one.

@@wearezscaredbeasts4207 what kind of chair are you coming from. If you’ve never sat in an ergonomic chair before, its very common for there to be an adjustment period for your body if youre not used to it. This is one of the most common things about ergonomic chairs because your body isn’t used to sitting “correctly”. If you are used to sitting with poor posture for your whole life and then a chair all of a sudden forces you to sit with proper posture, its very common to experience some pain the short term until your body is used to it. I had the same experience when i shifted to ergonomic office chairs from racing style gaming chairs

@@sleeksetups pretty Standard chair and yea i was aware of getting used it alongside pain. The thing is got worse and worse, to a point where the back pain radiated into the groin area too even after just sitting for a short period. That was when i knew, i have to give it back.

I personally despise this chair, it has extremely rigid lumbar support and clunky adjustments. Even at the maximum setting, the lumbar is too low (I’m 6’), and the head rest limits posture to a singular locked position (at least the headrest is removable). That being said, the chair is surprisingly adjustable and the cushion is serviceable, albeit a little thin. Definitely one of the better budget options, but I’d also suggest trying the Staples Dexley (~130$ and Staples 7yr warranty) if you’re in the US.
@sleeksetups17 күн бұрын
Personally, I think it's hard to recommend a budget all-mesh chair to a wide range of people. All-mesh chairs can be very polarizing. Half of people will hate it just because it's mesh. Mesh seats in particular are really hard to pull off, especially for budget chairs. I personally find the Ticova much more comfortable than the Dexley.

@ I’d say 6’3 is too tall for this chair, since the seat pan won’t be deep enough.
