It's been about a month since I got my hands on the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and this might just be the best foldable in the market. With a normal looking outside display that mimmics a traditional phone, but when unfolded, you're greeted with an 8-inch OLED tablet-like display, this is hands down the best foldable experience so far. With Xiaomi's MIUI Fold software integrated into the mix, the combination of software and hardware is unbeatable. While it's not available to purchase outright in the US, I think importing this to the US (I used this on T-Mobile and was getting 50 Down and 45 Up in most areas with no dropped calls) is totally worth whatever price you need to pay to get this experience.

Nope, that's probably the best thing about Samsung's software. The integration with One UI + Dex is really cool and hope Oppo/Xiaomi develops something similar in the future.

Your videos are cool and clean, I like it. I think it'd be neat if you did kind of like Michael Fisher does: add random video shots of diverse environments shot with the phone you're reviewing. It prevents low attention span viewers from getting bored of seeing only your office and shots of the phone.

You forgot to mention: - S Pen Support. - Wireless Charging. - Power Sharing. - Flex Mode. - Inner Camera. - Desktop Mode. The hardware is awesome, but the software sucks. Just by using the split screen you may notice, you can't resize or change the orientation of the Split Screen.

@@eliodsignthe inner camera is only important to the business orientated really. Water resistant is a good point. For the value side of things for $700 cheaper where I live the value is so much better even without those features it makes Samsung's device seem pretty bad in comparison. All in all if I were rich I'd have both, if I had enough money to choose either of them I'd choose the mix fold 2 every time due to the simple fact if the screen brakes (Samsung have the most breakable screens due the there hing) I can use my phone happily due to it being a normal phone closed. Samsungs outdated design, poor mechanism (screen durability wise), price , size, software being the same old stuff as always makes charging $700 (at least) a more terrible purchase decision compared to the competition. I feel sorry for my American friends that are stuck with that option and that option only

great phone but only thing this phone has over the best phone of 2022 is both screens are bigger oh and that it chargers faster I will people stop bringing up that the mi fold 2 has no gap samsung already knew and said that having a gap makes it better so if debris gets in the middle and you closes it that it won't smash the screens and the other reason is so it can have a ip rating as it's the only foldable phone that has ip rating. mi fold 2 is a amazing phone but its not better the the mighty fold 4

Samsung's inner display is a sweet spot having the Oppo Find N and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 beside it. The outside display need redesign to make it look like a normal phone. Holding a 6.5 inch with that bulk.. meh for me.but its undeniably beautiful (XMF2)

Great form factor (better than Z fold 4) but software doesn't full advantage of the bigger internal screen. You can't full screen youtube videos for example, it's the same size as the outside screen. What a waste.

The flex mode is not something I care about, as I am not taking selfies all the time or watching YT on split-screen as that seems pointless; just buy a candy bar phone with a case stand. Anyway, the Mix Fold2 has a case that will create the ability for flex mode if that is really a big deal. Whilst the Mix is a work-in-progress, it clearly is leap years ahead of the Fold in terms of what we expect a mature folding phone to look like. So no gap, less crease, better front aspect ratio, and thinner. If I were interested in this hybrid tablet sector, the Mix is an easy choice if and when we get a global release. The Fold offers extra for pen users, nailing that demographic, but water resistance is not essential as I do not expose even my S22U to water. Samsung is very fortunate with the US ban on Chinese phones; otherwise, the Fold would be a hard sell outside its Fanclub. Thankfully, in the next 12 months, we will see far better folding devices than what Samsung sells in my region, and I am holding on for the OPPO Find N2 or Pixel Fold (Notebook).

That gap is only at the hinge, not further along, so it is clearly just a design choice, maybe because Samsung's design team could not innovate a flat closing display. The other foldable has raised edges to prevent dust and debris. You are just an apologist for Samsung; the design is not contemporary and IMHO a failure.

Hello! I have a problem with my xiaomi mix fold 2 and maybe you can help me and give me an advice. My Phone arrived (in Romania) few days ago and from the Day 1 I have some problems with whatsapp. First of all I notice that my entire agenda doesnt upload - I made a backup before transfer all the data from my last xiaomi) but the contact names doesnt appear until I go to a random conversation and “add contact” but not finishing the adding. That was the first problem, not resolved because just few minute agora my whatsapp account was temporarily banned. I strat reading în help center what that means and they say that or im using an unofficial version or that I might be harvesting information, which is known as scraping. How can I fix this? The app I took down from google play and I m not scraping..I dont even know what that means…so…please, can you give an advice what should I do because I cant risk that my whatsapp account be banned. Thank you

Actually the pixelator is also only good for a 2x digi zoomer, as well❤️‍🩹 and on a import note, this xiaomi can be had anywhere online like wireless place etc.
