And we need an empty slot for going lone wolf. Because in BG or STV even , if you go in lonezolf but are not on an empty slot , the pet will spawn everytime you come back.

We need to petition to get more pet stable slots! And maybe a call stabled pet. No way to switch pets in raid which sucks. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm tired of having to throw away pets every phase just b/c the meta changed (again). Still using my 1.3 speed tiger from stv since i'm marks now.

I think it's bullshit that all the other classes got QOL changes like warlocks being able to get a free shard and extra shardswhile casting drain soul, they get closet, mages got a free teleport to people and hunters are just left in the dust.

First of all, it's not free, 2nd you BOTH need to be in rested locations for it to work - So I wouldn't put mage up there with QoL things (Tho we did get 20water/cast which is nice) but hunters got AoV and Trap Launcher which are both waaaay more important than ANY of the mage scrolls... But yeah, it wouldn't hurt to have like a small questchain to be able to open extra stableslot and learn call stabled pet with CD on it obv.

With the focus fire rune working on the raid set for melee a cat should still out die the wind serpent if i am not mistaken. The big thing is the cat will get the stacks faster as mentioned in the ranged hunter portion of the video and even with the nature damage buffs I think that is a bigger overall DPS bump over the wind serpent as the serpents lighting takes to much focus. Again i could be wrong but I am fairly certain that is the case. -TLDR if you have your raid armor set you should still go a cat (faster preferred) and have that cat only use Claw rank 7, if you are a melee hunter. If not a wind serpent of solid but a 2.0 speed cat is very viable as well.

@@felixs2034 Claw has a lower focus value so it will proc faster and will keep your attack speed buff up consistently during a raid boss fight or any long fight once you get the initial 5 stacks for the buff. Bite costs more focus and takes a little longer to gain the 5 stacks so its not the most efficient. (not terrible though)

I leveled a horde mage to 50 and an alliance lock to 50, but in all honesty, I might just go back to my hunter. They're so much fun to play, especially if you like to run around solo.

I do around 800 - 1000 dps on boss fights with the current gear I have (which is mostly from previous phase = level 40) not running any pets. The extra dmg on your traps from TNT Rune is also pretty nice in the new Raid. ST has a lot of small adds spawning during boss combats. Increased ranged attack speed only affects your auto attacks. Which aren't doing the most dmg atm. Spamming that Chimera Shot tho.. esp with Lone Wolf. 2.2k crits is amazing.

Any know if it’s possible to write a ingame macro that would. For example. Cast focus fire when I use chimera shot, (that is possible).. with that caveat that it only trigger if it has 5 stacks?

According to Petopia Broken Tooth has a 1.2 attack speed. There is another pet that is equal to it and that it The Rake - a level 12 rare spawn lion from Mulgore.

i just went and tamed owl in feralas for claw r7, then wolf in hinterlands for bite r7, then tamed jaguero stalker cuz it was lvl 50, and my cat was still only 44 from lvling incursions.....just seemed like common sense after looking at petopia.

Problem is the jaguar is a 2.0 attack speed which is pretty slow. Unfortunately there isn’t any fast cars anywhere near level 50

if, for ranged hunter, the pet is only going to use claw, then it is irrelevant what pet it is so long as it can use claw no? Cats were great as they couild use both claw and bite, but now if the BIS is just using claw, you can use anything that uses claw.

It's because of the melee rune Flanking Strike which gives the pet extra attacks. And with slower pets, each individual hit has higher dmg.

Melee hunter BM with TSA in party, after that you either go MM melee with for TSA for party dmg (Lone Wolf/Master MM + carve OR Lion + BM if you lack the buff) or melee BM for personal parsing.

Is owl a dps loss over a cat?Im so done with cat looks haha. Got 97 parses on my first raid with owl (I brought it cus i figured perhaps screech would be needed for bosses) Now that I know screech isnt really needed cus ST is still very easy, I dont wanna let go of owl anymore. Man i fckn hate hunters lol everytime I try to go farm stuff there's goddamn troll hunters with bot ass names just ninja-ing your ore nodes and carcasses. (I'm not a skinner so I'm not stressing too much on that) to the point that I started strong arming people away by following them and mining their node and them laughing/farting on them, which is not something I ever used to do but man I gotta get mine too ya know? i work full time, i dont have all day to farm
