The biggest tip for your first run in ST, already have killed all of the bosses. It’s absolutely essential that you have already gone through the raid if you want to try it for your first time. It’s kind of like getting an entry level position, you know that you need 3 years experience already working the job in order to get started.

If you have it, the PvP Trinket also helps with dispelling the Fears and Stuns. Its kinda handy.

Nice guide! One extra tip for tanking the first boss, you can taunt right after he finishes the cast of smash to get aggro back while you are in the air so no need for a second tank here.

You can also not get knocked into the air and just taunt after smash by pulling him to one of the grates on the walls

Better yet just have someone else with a taunt, taunt just before the cast goes off. We use a feral who goes bear > taunts > Threat drop resets back to the MT.

Taunt lasts 3 sec, taunt,bubble,cancel bubble. Like nothing happened. Paladins can bubble 99% of mechanics, and thrash should never happen if you don't move the boss or move from the boss.

dreamsythe/weavers breath can be tottallya voided by just staying away after the knockback, they will do it in mid air. on jamal, the holy fire can just be interupted.

Hello @Sarthe, I've been looking at your logs and I've seen the dmg buff called "Voodoo Frenzy" which is adding on average an extra 200dps on every boss. I've seen this buff on a lot of the high parsing players but I cant seem to find any information on it online. Wowhead only gives a description of what the buff does. Could you please elaborate on how you are attaining this buff on every boss. Thanks man, loved the vid, our guild going to get its first clear this sunday!

This raid was pretty nice id1 and now its just a run throu tbh. Also item Design is so Bad. Playing ranged Hunter i got my bow and 3/3 set so basically only item left for me is quest item for Ring and thats it..kinda lame for me. Many other classes also only need like 4-5 items 😢

A 71 parse is dirt? Then why did you green parse pre-nerf? Oh you cant parse in a group that doesn't clear in under 30 seconds? That's what I thought. Go clear Mythic raiding and Cataclysm content. You are part the reason there is going to be a mass exodus from this version of wow. There are moms and dads that are doing higher DPS than you and posting higher logs but they only have 2-3 hours a week to raid. You do this as a job with hundreds of consumables in a speed running guild and you still can't perform. I have attained top 10% PvP rank in Starcraft 2, Starcraft 1, League of legends, Dota 2, World of tanks, Heroes of the storm, Call of Duty, and I have won thousands in prize money from tournaments. Do you know what I do with grey and green parsers? I clear raids with them and teach them. I WANT MORE people playing my games, so I don't alienate them. This is especially bad for a content creator with 100k subs that alienates players and all the average player sees that might not even have any logs is that they are worthless from one of their (not mine) favorite content creators. Consider your actions.

Hell yea bro! Do the raid how you want! That’s the beauty of wow. If you want to go try hard, like yourself in dota, league etc, you can. If you don’t want to, you don’t have to! Plenty of people will say the same thing about those games that you stated prior. Some people play for social aspects some play for parsing reasons. Sarthe is a hardcore parser that’s one of the reasons he enjoys the game. And btw he got shit parses first raid because the comp was absolute dog shit.
