But Lexus and Toyota cars are so easy to work on. I love them. As beautiful as this interior is, I would never get it in white. My wife is a Bentley Continental girl and says I am old school for thinking my LC 500 on order is the best looking car on the planet. Incredibly detailed review but, respectfully, I think it is important to mention the coupe has four-wheel steering, which Lexus could not add to the convertible because the frame stiffening members got in the way. Many say the coupe has superior handling because of the 4WS. I am ignoring them because I am a convertible guy and not going to beat the car up by taking it to a track to prove a modest handling variation. Keep up the great work!

I have a '24 LC500. Currently in the shop for the firmware recall that they can't get fixed in 3 days. Love the overall car, been driving most of the Lexus V8 4.0/4.3/4.7/4.6/5.0 for 30 years. Only car I would buy a first year model as it doesn't have turbo and still old school. This is the heir apparent for my old SC400 back in the 90s

I have a 2002 SC430 which as 145K on it. V8, rear wheel drive, leather and wood interior and the hard top folds into the trunk to make it a convertible. It's smooth, linear in it's acceleration, runs and idles perfectly and has been extremely reliable. I like the looks of the car and so do many people when going into a gas station and many asking what it is. I want to thank the British idiots for calling it the worst car ever made since there only a few on the road so it's relatively rare. Perfect for South Florida and will haul much more than the LC500 in the trunk. I love the LC500 but find the limited space and excessive cost to be a non starter. I guess I'll have to suffer with the SC for another 22 years and another 145K miles but thanks for the glowing reviews on the LC. Maybe keep the SC and add the LC, could happen.

I just glimpsed the external / recycle air button. As I snorted at the convertible having this, I realised my 2004 UZJ has exactly the same. AMD - as you say; "over the top" and "old and new mix", you are bang on. Cheers.

You know that whoever buys a car like this, is a real enthusiast.

Care Care Nut, you”re the most knowledgeable Toyota expert known on KZbin, great job & keep doing what you’re doing. The LC is my dream car, will consider getting one in a few years

It is a beautiful car. But, more importantly, the lack of plastic mechanical components is refreshing, I say that as a car lover, not a Lexus fan lol.

When an automotive expert of AMD's caliber constantly expresses admiration in endless superlatives of the quality of build of this vehicle and how much he likes it, I have to admit the LC500 replaces all other vehicles on my wish list..

The LC500 is my dream car. I really enjoyed your other videos on the LC, but this 2024 model appears to be the best yet.

Just wondering when AMD will give his opinion on the tundras issues

Been wondering that myself. Being that they are still under warranty, He probably has not worked on any yet . I’m sure Toyota will eventually correct this unfortunate issue, but I feel for the owners in the meantime.

@@brianw8963 got to be tough to owe one and don't know what's next or the solution. Those average 70k prices are crazy
