Rampart main here: In pubs I always pick the ammo perk and the sheila handing perk, but in ranked i swap out the sheila perk for the fast reloads. The extra ammo is so essential in the way I play the game because I feel naked without a ton of batteries so being able to carry extra ammo per stack really helps. I don't use sheila as much in ranked because of the risk factor of it, so I instead go with faster reloads behind walls cause more often than not in endgames you're stuck behind your amped walls cause there are 3 or more other teams in a small ring.

@@heyitsmetrousers4399 a good rampart is terrifying - but she is very hard to master, so they’re pretty rare. I like to think I’m pretty good at the game, and I manage to play her quite aggressively at times

6k kill Rampart main. My philosophy is typically Sheila cd in pubs, ammo in ranked, but exceptions can depend on the load out. If I'm running an L Star I'll go with ammo for example. Fast reloads is seriously underrated. I'll take that most of the time in ranked because you can be so oppressive especially in the end games. I'll set a shield on my flank I'm not watching but not facing the guys I'm shooting because it's more likely to stay amped and you can quickly hug it and activate a quick reload without even having to look at it. It's really strong with a Nemesis/Havoc. Great for getting that entry damage and you can compensate for Sheila spin time by bhoppin while revving her up around a corner.

I usually pick the ammo perk for the first one cause it just opens up more slots for grenades and bats. With the new segmented ammo system for sheila I never feel like I don’t have it when I need it so I don’t feel like the cooldown perk is really necessary

Which says a lot about the firearm knowledge of the game developers. LMGs are some of the worst weapons in the game but are better than most guns IRL. More ammo. Same fire rate. Same or higher caliber rounds. The real disadvantage with LMGs should be reload time, turn rate, and movement penalties. Firepower should be better.

I also run rampart a lot. I choose the ammo bc I enjoy using the Lstar with her. Plus, with the recent nerf to the energy stack count, it's helps a lot. I try to run Lstar and a mastiff, otherwise I try to find a spitfire and double up on LMGs. Then I choose the handling hands down for the second perk.

I'm was kind of stuck on this too. He did see him cross over the hedge as he was climbing up to the roof and until I watched it like 10 times I was pretty flabbergasted. However if you look you can see the guy pop over the wall just before he actually climbs the wall and you'll also notice that's what caught his attention. At first my heart dropped and I was sad because I was like there's no way. But indeed there is a way and it's legit. Watch the few seconds before and you'll see his head and shoulders bob over the wall and catch soos attention.
