That thing when enemy forget to target you as soraka or even buy anti heal is so real, even in emerald they dont do that most of the time so i have very easy time climbing with her (yea my english are probably bad so i hope you understand

As a pyke main i can say that he ist not really an ad carry. 1. He cant carry cause he falls of very strong in the late game 2. His damage output is low (in the lategame) because he really only has one damage ability He is definetly an engage support as he gives a hook and a stun and his roams are one of the best in the game

Mmmh he still is able to 1v1 junglers/carrys in early/midgame if ahead, something that is harder to do with engage champions. As I mentioned Pantheon/Pyke/Sett and some others fall off hard later on + Pyke in teamfights is hard to execute. Cheers!

What about blindpickable enchanters? I feel like most of them are countered pretty hard in lane. Would love to hear your take on it. Something like a Seraphine has the two roles going for it, but something like a Lulu is pretty clear..

in low elo is hard to counter an enchanter, you need to punish well with wave management and Soraka and Lulu for example are very strong early on, just be careful vs Hook/All in champs

where would u place poppy? from one hand she does a lot of damage and has high base ad, but on the other hand she is building full tank.

@@benelkal5794 i would say damage support/engage eventhough she doesnt have good engage like the others. For new/climb players i wouldnt recommend her. If you play her a lot, then ok, you will climb if you are good at her + you have the fundamentals of roaming

Taking Poppy is going to be difficult as you'll need to know your engage E to Stun range and how to get it. Her shield likes to land by walls and can be stepped on to break it by enemy champions, baiting them into making a wall stun for you. her Q is good damage. I would suggest watching people play her in high elo, Dacnomaniak is on yt and twitch and is the #1 poppy supp in NA. Again Poppy has high stats because shes a tank, but also strong scaling for any AD you want. shes very reliant for peel if youre used to using her but engaging with E will likely cause you to commit.

Seeing this got me a little sad, ngl. All of my enchanters on Soloqueue have 50- % winrate, and I play a lot of Lulu and Soraka. I tend to be hyper aggressive with Lulu especially, get a bunch of kills early on, roam around killing other laners with the unexpected amount of damage she has, and after spiking early, I start shadowing my strongest teammate. I still end up losing the majority of my games. It's really frustrating to have statistics similar to Diamond Lulu players and still be stuck in the deep of the well. In Ranked Flex, all my enchanters have pretty good winrates, especially Lulu with a 70%. I'm close to Emerald but I can't shake that feeling that it has nothing to do with me since I can't climb on soloqueue. Soraka also has 50-% WR, and I end up doing more or similar heal than my team does damage, and, many losses again. I'll be watching more of your guides to learn what I've doing wrong, because I feel really disheartened when it comes to climbing soloqueue.

Uh oh, a high elo player has worked out how low elo works for low elo players... high value video thanks! Coach K's advice tracks my experience very closely: Mage: (Zyra/pre-update Swain) Worst. Doing damage and clearing waves noone seems to care about allows me to stall out the game, but rarely win it. Me getting kills and waves means my team falls father behind, and on a support economy, I don't have the raw stats to forgive mistakes and reliably carry with the resources I have taken. I am just not skilled enough to consistently stomp the lane and get hyper accelerated enough to overcome the team deficit (which I am amplifying with the pick). Engage: (Rakan/Leona/Maokai) The most fun! The highest variance. Relies on me making, and my team following up, the right engage at the right time, multiple times a game. When it works it is devastating, when it doesn't there is no holding back the tide. The need to roam to create enough value to stack the game in my favour is vulnerable to me misjudging roam windows, and even if I get it 'right' the ADC may still suicide or tilt. Enchanter: (Janna/Nami) Consistently best. Match mages for damage in the first few levels, scale smoothly without being on a gold/xp clock, whilst also having a low skill floor. My reference points are clear, I don't compete with my carries for resources, and I have an 'undo' button for their mistakes - in a game that favours the team that makes fewer mistakes. Feels utterly miserable when my 4 monkeys are sprinting it, but those are games I'd probably lose on any other support anyway. Slowly learning to appreciate and enjoy this archetype, winning helps.

Again the issue is simply out of my control for low elo. I can play an amazing game of enchanter but have my carry feed, or even refuse to trade. I can play hooks but again, relying on my carry to actually work with me. Yes it goes the other way but im not an enchanter player whos half a screen back to my tower behind my carry, im not an engage who is making bad plays. I play damage because it works for my elo.

@@elgatochurro if playing mages makes you climb, then play that. In my experience is easier to do with enchanters like i said, you wont win every game but you are going to improve and see the results faster. Also I got videos about playing enchanter with passive supports 😄

Today's soraka game i grabbed moonstone and then dawncore jsut to try and boost the healing as much as possible. and nah, last time i did ranked, i got silver 2 in a month of casually playing... idk why people even in bronze were obsessing like the LP is directly tied to their livelihoods. I am going to try it again but I really feel a strong mage or engage would be my best option, I LOVE enchanters though. Lulu and soraka and more are my most fun champs but things like lux or morg or karma allow me some agency for whatever the game might become, like Senna.

I played ranked lol from season 2 and stopped 3 years ago. From then I only play casual from time to time. I mained support because back in the day everyone was fighting for mid and top and support no one wanted. I played all kinds of supports, I love them all and I could not escape silver for 2 years And then I picked Zyra. I managed to peak Plat 4 which for me was very high elo and I was very proud. Soraka helped me climb too in games with high AP in my team. However Soraka playstyle is not rewarding. You feel like a chicken shit, cowering behind the heroes. Your teammates don't respect you, your enemies hate you. It doesn't feel good in the long run. Zyra though, when you master it it is so difficult to play against it in low elo. She is so oppressive, like Le Blank, that it makes the enemy wanna quit. And if you can make the opponent feel like that... that is the fastest way to climb. Now, after Arcane I am back and I'll main Zilean. Mostly because when we play support best feeling in game is the saviour recognition effort you can get from a teammate or even an opponent. And his ultimate is just pure perfection for me. It doesn't get better than that when you see that you died but some guardian angel revived you in the last moment! Love it!

When would you say to transition from the carry mage supports to more team oriented supports? Like tanks and enchanters and effectively climb? I find that sometimes i win a bunch of games in gold, climb to high gold then suddenly drop down to low gold again, i get teams that have no idea how to play and overstay while farming enemy and basically i cant engage onto anyone on enemy team because they suddenly have an extra triple kill that makes them unkillable etc

I would say stick to enchanter to climb til diamond if your goal is to keep progressing in elo. In the video i recommend enchanters as top1. I would then look to improve my game knowledge while getting better at laning phase (reading matchups etc). After that the rest gets easier, engagers are hard to execute, if you want to play them and climb (effective) then learn how/when to roam and how to play midgame/teamfights correctly and also how to control a game, you can 1v9 as engager but you need to have a good idea on how to win the game. Depende del personaje, normalmente quieres ir o AP o utilidad, si que es cierto que Redención/Mikael no son malos items aún comprando de primeras algo AP, solo si es por algo en especifico, por ejemplo si tienen mucho daño AoE o CC. A mi me gusta jugar Lux con Shuerlyas + Redención pero cuando voy AP solo compraría Redención de 3/4º item

Interesting that you decided to put Senna in Carry AD Support and not also in enchanter. She is both and always will be both. So sad that AD always will be the thing she will be picked for and not for her utility.
