I did his 10 Step videos and got a huge improvement in my riding. Once I got thru that it revealed the changes I needed to make to the bike to suit the places I ride and my skills. That led to even more imorovements.

You deserve an honorary doctorate degree for the hard work, dedication, and creativity in developing and proving out your approach to teaching riding skills. Doc Larsen! 100% agree with what Dustin wrote. I learned more and developed a greater appreciation and respect for the sport in those two days in Olympia than over the decades of riding to that point. And best of all, you are a kind and thoughtful person. Super excited for you and congrats on launching the website!

I have also found your training techniques and tips excellent - when I follow your instructions from a video, I pick up the skills very quickly. You’ve definitely really refined the art of training. Thankyou for everything you bring to the sport, and I hope you know that many of us who have seen your journey over the years are very impressed with what you’ve put together here and how far you’ve come! what you call power collection reminds me of blade "stickiness" from the book of 5 rings as well as "sticky hands" technique from wing chun, some people might relate it more to the mighty ducks scene where they are passing an egg with hockey sticks. the practice is about staying in contact, making adjustments and cradling the energy. another way to say it would be "balanced energy absorption". great video, keep up the good work!

Hello my friend. First of all thank u a lot for sharing your advices through your chanel that is a gold mine for me. I really love the way u teach. I did search but i couldn't see any video of the importance of tire pressure in ur chanel. Could u make one some day? I used to ride with 14psi at the rear and then friends get me to 5 psi. That became day and night in my riding . Love from France

Thank you for your awesome videos. I started to see your 10 part progression videos but I stopped at number 3 since I realize I’m riding with a very bad position. I cannot ride with the balls of my feet’s. Do you have any recommendations to start riding with the balls of my feet’s? Because I feel I don’t know how to move the feet’s when I need to brake or change gear. I search your videos about body position but this looks like a very beginning thing that you assume everyone does 😅 Thank you once again. Keep with the good work

I’ve been watching your videos for a few years and they are awesome. The power collection idea is totally new to me. I have a rekluse cx in my 300 and 500 because I’m an older rider and I can ride longer in technical terrain. Have tried power collection with a cx?
@IRCTireUSAMoto2 ай бұрын
Glad you like them! You can do the same delivery and collection on a rekluse as long as you use your clutch!

I’ll be keeping an eye out for details about the Washington clinic. I ride all over here in the Cascades and do a lot of trail clearing with the chainsaw. If you get a chance to spend a day or two exploring, I’d be happy to give you some advice on what is clear And running good that time of year.

Great video, as always. Very good approach - even for newcomers like me. Too bad you're not coming to Germany ;-). I would love to learn these drills. I'm riding an Epure Race 2021 and trying to get control of the throttle and clutch. The throttle with flywheel is a bit different every time I let the clutch in and therefore not as predictable as with a gasoline engine. Maybe you have a tip for me. Best regards from Germany, Thorsten
@IRCTireUSAMoto2 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video! Maybe one day I’ll get to Germany! As far as the throttle and clutch control goes on the electric motion machines. I have found trying to reduce the amount I’m using the clutch helps. I ride the bike more in the outside of the friction zone and focus on not over using the clutch. Obviously I’m using it a similar amount but it’s all about trying to keep the clutch in the sweet spot of the friction zone and never pulling it all the way in. Hope that makes sense
@advfan2 ай бұрын
Yes, of course, thank you very much for your quick help, that's very kind of you. Germany really is a beautiful country. There really is a lot to see: castles, palaces, lakes, mountains and not just the German autobahn 😀. I wish you continued success with your channel and, above all, good health

I have 2 questions about your classes. First is: do you only take people with dirtbikes? Or anyone who is looking to hard Enduro? I've been actively putting my 890 in these situations. I have a few shorts up. Unimpressive from most dirt riders point of view I'm sure, but I'm getting better thanks to your videos and practice. Second: do you still do 1 on 1 classes? Since I ride alone 100% of the time I'm never sure where I stand and what group classes I should join. If I had a 300 2T I'd call myself a late stage beginner, but compared to the common ADV rider, I would consider myself a mid-late stage intermediate. My main problem I'm having a hard time with is loading power correctly. I'm sure it's a mix of lack of time on the bike and throttle control but I'm curious how I look for a second point of view, if there is anything else I'm missing.
@IRCTireUSAMoto2 ай бұрын
I can teach a bit on the big bike although it’s not ideal the techniques do transfer over. I do one on ones here in SLC although less frequent.
@KTM_Oujous2 ай бұрын
@IRCTireUSAMoto I'm curious: What makes skills harder / different on this type of bike? Just the sheer weight?
