Another little tip. Can use this if you are farming herbs. I have had 3000 Hyssop in my inventory while farming. Figured this out after I went to town to unload. You can put water in you hotbar, consumables, It will make the water have no weight. I had 2500 water in there before, so I don't know how many will actually stack. Now, even on a tier 1 camp, after you collect the hyssop, and have thousands of water in hotbar, just make weak health potions. 3000 hyssop is 18000 arcana exp. Then just drop the potions on the ground. Just a little tip to work on arcana when farming, and removing excess weight. :)

Make a buying order in 2-3 towns. Trust me in 1-2 days your storage will be full with Hyssop. Then you can either place it in parts on the acution house to be canceled in your crafting town or craft the pots in town when you collect it. Leveled to 150 nice and easy. Zillion of potions was put to the ground

First of all, great and to the point guide for arcana! There are a couple things I am doing that seems to make the 5-150 route a little more efficient. On the way to the start of the route there is a little farm with soul sprouts/veins, and they are clumped so you aren’t losing a lot of time from the river. I am also recalling back to everfall (if you have a house) at the end of the route and paying the 44 Azoth for instant port. Running harvest luck gear/food and light to dodge/roll faster. Another potion you can make is common corruption tincture with the Rivercress stems you acquire for 36exp per pot then make the focus pots with remaining water motes. In one hour I farmed 1033 WM, 449 SM, 182 EM, 121 rivercress stem (about 1200 extra exp for tincture pots) and about 30 various T3-4-5 mats. Hope this helps even further!! 👍🏼

One thing to keep in mind with that Azoth water route, is that it takes you right where you need to go for the Reekwater PvP missions. If there's no one contesting it, you can do it at the same time and get very good faction standing and tokens while farming those waters.

Isn't it cheaper to just craft 4 of the T1 potions instead? Water Motes go for around 0.5g on my server. Bulrush is at around 0.01g. The focus potion just gives 4x the XP, but costs at 20-50 times as much as the T1 stuff.

It's alot cheaper to craft Steel fire staffs on my server than the common focus potions. Water motes are close to 1g each and steel ingots are like 2.30g. And the steel fire staff gives 690 exp while the common focus gives 24? The fire motes for the firestaff is only 0,50g so making the common focus potions would be 50-100% more expensive to level up with.

Wouldn't Iron staffs been better? It's usually not worth it to grind on steel, because it gives less exp per gold spent

Hmm So did the math. You Need 20891 Focus Potions: 20891 Water Motes(at .75 gold) is ~15668 gold 20891 Water(at .02 gold) is ~417 gold Total= ~16085 gold You Need 727 Steel Iron Staffs: 8724 Steel Ingots(at2.30g) is ~20065 gold I wont go further becas the steel ingots themselves already cost more. Feel free to double check my math though.

@@KingOfSnub depends on the server I guess, water motes are 90 cent on Murias today and Steel ingots are 1.35. Different serveres have different economy. But I didnt do the math like you did, it just felt like it would be alot cheaper.. Also you get about 2-4 Steel ingots back when you salvage the straffs so you gotta count that in aswell. Im pretty sure its cheaper, maybe not by much. Again, depends on what Mats are available at the time you decide to buy it etc. Another problem is that there might be 1000 water motes available at decent prices, then the rest are alot more expensive. You can't get as much water motes like you can get Iron ore / Steel bars, people dont farm that much water motes, wich means you would have to do it yourself and that would take alot longer than getting the Iron needed.

Just went 100-125 doing starmetal life staffs. I don’t know if it’s any better but the materials are a lot more plentiful on the market than the potions atleast on my server. I made some strong blighted potions as well. Twistcap + fungal spore is pretty easy and sell for profit on my server for now

Motes are worth like .7 to 1.8 in like any server because you need 500 of every mote per void bent armor. So 2500 total. Dont do that....

I can't help but think these are troll videos. 21k focus potions? Really? A lap takes around 15 minutes. You need 21k materials, You get around 100 materials to make potions in those 15 minutes. Yes, but if you stick to the roads it's fine. I went there today to collect some cyan prismablooms, and I could also snatch some azoth water without attracting any attention. If you get caught by a wold or a puma, just jump on a ledge, when they can't hit you, they will lose aggro after few seconds.

You need to make buy orders for the water motes while you're gathering, Elderscrolls 6 will come before you can gather 20k water motes lol

@@mikemike5666 not really, its easy to farm hundreds of motes each day just casually farming if you know good paths. the branches with spinefish lightning beetles etc are a great source as well as they give around 40 motes if not the purple resource.

There are also a few overlays you can download that give you a mini-map with markers (they are not active markers, just known location markers)

And? you only need to farm Herbs, thich you will be doing anyway. And you get huge gold by selling the seasonings from the herbs or keeping them for your cooks. After you can start doing some Weight Potion and Tinktures, thich is also faster to farm up. and you get lvl 200 in 2 days max.

@@olliepartonop9307 what is a "real endgame"? The endgame does not define a game. The path to it is currently a lot of fun. the third dungeon was, if you are not overlevelled, extremely fun. The boss mechanics worked very well with the combat system. Soon we will go to the 4 dungeon. I'm very excited about what's coming. After that, it's just endgame dungeons. The data miners have found out quite a lot about what is currently being worked on. I mean, 8 more weapons, 6 dungeons etc. There will probably be a lot more content around Christmas. Until then, just max out the professions. It's fun for me at the moment. Let's see how long it holds).

Pity that the basket only holds one egg, and the rest of the New World mechanics and gameplay eggs fell to the ground and broke. What a 💩show New World turned in to. @@miked815 umm no sir, 5 motes to an wisp for 15 xp so 20 motes = 60 xp then you get an essence for 48 xp. total for 20 motes is 108 arcana xp. with focus potions you get 24 xp per mote total for 20 motes? 480... make potions
