used to be a sales representative for a pharmaceutical lab, inside the car there was always pens, samples, publicity material for the chems i was selling, blocks with receipts and bills and things related to the job,(aside from my coat, lunch and little bag of meds just in case) poor little Prius was like a mobile office, but at least i tried to keep it tidy and with order

My car has a bin full of herding related stuff (boots, socks, whistles, various shirts, jumpers and jackets, as well as stock sticks)

My daily is immaculate. Inside the centre console are two pair of sunglasses, a pair of reading glasses, door hinge oil, a phone charger. In the back seat an umbrella and in winter a snow/ice scraper. In the cargo area (it's an estate), two blankets neatly folded a la James May, and in the storage bins on each side, a jug of washer fluid, a litre of motor oil and that is it.

I don't use my car every day but I do use it for work delivering food for doordash. Just stuff that I need, umbrella, hand sanitizer, and of course jumper cables and tools in the back for when something goes wrong because its 24 years old now.

Mine has much the same junk in it, I’ve put a secure box in back to store important stuff in, but that’s full of junk too and if I want something out of the cubby box i have to shift a huge tangle of charger cables, parachord and lanyards! Fit a glove box Richard, because your not used to having one in a defender, when you do look in there it’s always a nice surprise to find something you thought you’d lost.

Mine just has gum in the glove box, water bottles in the doors and a flashlight in the console, very clean

I use my Volkswagen estate daily and it is immaculate. I give it a full detail about twice a year and respect it in between. If I have to go to the laundromat, for things that just should not see the washer and dryer at home, I utilize that time to clean the windows and wipe down the interior surfaces with Murphy's oil soap and water. I mostly go to the laundromat for things like area rugs and floor runners, also twice a year.

Hammond! My wife and I share one vehicle, and the only things I keep in it are the owner's manual, registration, and a slobber towel for our beloved English Bulldog

Smart ForFour the 115bhp version. I live in Denmark, it’s winter soon, so a few blankets, for me and the dog. Dog treats, money for coffee, extra clothes, cola, road salt/sand, a small shovel.

Gen 1 Discovery carrying everything from camping gear to tool box to surgical instruments...the back seats have been down since last christmas! There are a few jackets hiding in there too...

My daily driver is immaculate because everything is hidden. I've got loads of things in my center console like a box of tissues, camera, napkins, eating utensils, reflective vest, etc. In the frunk I've got my charging cable, reflective triangles, med kit, tire inflator. Gallon jug of water in the trunk. Probably 50-100 individual items if were to lay everything out. But somebody just peeking inside would think it was a rental car.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler every day for work and it’s loaded to the max with with tools, test gear, tire chains, more tools and various telecom equipment. The front cab is typically kept pretty clean minus the daily coffee cups.

This is literally how my truck is. I live in the northern Midwest USA so target's, ammo, winter gear, summer wear, tool set for the farm, tool set for the jet ski, can of premium, can of 50:1 premium, hatchet, jumper cables, tire repair kit, then there is all my actual stuff for my 9 to 5. Laptop, monitor, backpack of notes, accessories, etc. A cooler bag of food and drinks. Medical kit(s), trauma and the small bump on the playground kits.

2012 STI that I daily drive, has currently: A dog hammock thing for the back seat, an interior clean up kit, socket and wrench set, multimeter, assortment of fuses, a blanket, a quart of oil (because Subaru), pressure gauge, zipties, and some napkins. It's impossible to keep a car clean if you're always driving it

When I had the 996, the only stuff I kept in the car was a cd folder with 100 CDs, and some cassettes :) In the new Rav4 I only keep sunglasses.

Mine's not worse, but I definitely keep a rain jacket, regular jacket, coat during the winter, blanket, coupons, and tools in there. It's just convenient and honestly planning ahead.

There is a starting point to the spread of Defender detritus. It is the lidded box between the front seats. It spreads out from there. I note that Hammond didn't delve into its dark depths!
