I don't think you need to buy their proprietary ammo. The plastic cylinders are reusable, so I think you could make a paste from table salt and water to fill the holes left by the original rounds. Pour the salt in, add a few drops of water, and then let it dry on a cookie sheet. Once the water evaporates off, you're left with a solid block/chunk of crystals that are sorta melted together. Just a drop or two of water, though. Maybe mix 10 parts salt to 1 part flour so the flour acts as a binding agent, but isn't so strong that it creates a pellet that doesn't spread and disintegrate easily. One or two drops of water after the material is in the cylinders.... let it dry..... I think you'd have a lifetime supply of ammo for dirt cheap!

I agree, except the CO2 idea. I had a friend who retrofitted one of those canisters for his little bb CO2 pistol and drilled a hole in the grip, with a Schrader valve so he could recharge his co2 cartridge straight from his air compressor it would hold a whole lot of pressure it definitely sent more than one coon wailing into the night. We live in the middle of nowhere. It would probably change the mind of a hungry bobcat. Just a thought. I was thinking the same about fabbing my own my. They are way overpriced at a friggin hundred bucks.i wonder if a plate of salt and a few strategic drops of water could make some ammo with the cartridges as a mold and loose table salt .

I finally figured the way to catch flies after watching a video on how flies see the world. Flies see everything at an extreme flash rate that humans can't even conceive so they see kinda like the flash if something is coming at them fast they see it in slow motion this is why they can always get out of the way so the trick is to move very slowly when they land approach them to smush them with your hand very slow and they cannot see it coming ever since I learned this I have never not caught a fly since.

I’ve had the original pump action version for almost 10 years, and it’s still as much fun as it was when I first got it. I don’t think the pistol is worth the expense of the CO2, or the proprietary ammo, not to mention the pistol itself. The only thing the original requires is ordinary table salt, which is not only cheap, but it’s something I have anyway.

Is the original powerful enough to kill bees and wasps.
@leemastro9904 Жыл бұрын
After landscaping, mowing lawns, and other assorted yard work for money starting at age 12, I got stung so many times, that by the time I was 19, I developed an allergy to the venom of bees, wasps, yellow jackets, etc, so when it comes to those, I use the long distance sprays specifically designed for those types of dangerous insects. I don’t know if one shot would kill one of them, but it is powerful enough that it put a shotgun pattern of holes in a window shade, when I shot the moth that was on it. Even so, I suggest not taking a chance.
