This is the end... of my e28 ownership. I've enjoyed this rare 1984 533i for five years and now its time to send it onto its next home. I really love this car, but with two young children, it just doesn't work for this current phase of my life.
I bought this car in July 2018 from the long time owner Mike, who owned it since July 1987.

Recent work includes new cooling system: water pump, thermostat, genuine BMW coolant hoses, belts, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fan clutch, idle valve, BMW blue coolant, Bosch alternator, new rubber intake boot, supersprint stainless steel exhaust, lubricated driveshaft, transmission mounts, low mileage Z3 LSD with new oem GKN axles. I also installed a new rubber Alpina rear spoiler, gold Alpina pin striping, new Alpina steering wheel and hub. New odometer gears just installed and accruing mileage again. True mileage is approximately 230k.
I have 150 service records from 1985 to present, which document how particular the long term owner was. He was an enthusiast and steadfast in the maintenance of the car over the decades. There are even some records from Vasek Polak during the years it spent in California in Hermosa Beach, but primarily the records are from Oregon where I purchased the car from.

Beautiful car. Would look better with Alpina wheels. If you can’t get Alpina wheels, style 32s would be an option.

Thanks! I sold the car when the video was posted. I was going to do Alpina replica wheels next ($1,200 USD from Maxilite). Not a huge fan of replica parts generally but the wheels looked great.
