Loving Batocera more and more. I need to make 2 builds, 1 for a lounge TV based console experience and another for a arcade cabinet and this is just more and more what I'm after. Domo arigato, Mr KevoBato. Poraster was made for RK3226 and RK3556 pieces of cheap, weak pieces of handheld magic. Through it, those severely underpowered devices can run Quake 3, Terraria, Celeste, Minecraft, Shredder's revenge, GTA San Andreas, the enormous list goes on and on. It wasn't initially made for a PC though.

@@KevsBatoceraBuilds i got the OG Steam Machine on dedicated low-end pc gaming duty. It has something like a mobile gtx 760 and its a huge pain to get the old proprietary drivers working when every update wants to switch to the new open incompatible ones. Not that Batocera wont try to do that eventually.... at least it'll be my own fault.

In the file manager go to userdata /system/add-ons and delete the folder for that is named the addon your trying to delete then go into userdata/ROMs/ports and delete the .sh file that has the same name as the app your deleting

Are you talking about the size of the userdata share partition? If so you have to boot Batocera once before the partition opens itself

Do you maybe know how can I add android emulator (Waydroid) to Batocera? I try several ways for different Linux distros but i don't succes. :( I installed Android studio via Flatpak, but build in emulator in Android studio is not good for gaming.

The guy who made the BUA is located in UK lol so it’s gotta be a way to type the “|” aka bar key it’s usually shift backslash the key above enter

@KevsBatoceraBuilds correction: it's not fault of bua but batocera as is terminal i was having issues on. But fix was in settings under controls to make batocera aware I'm using uk keyboard layout and not us What was annoying was that I did endless googling and and apparently no one went to settings to change the keyboard layout (i hate when simple fixes never exist is always the compilated way) But the installer works even like the "secret" (please don't show it in your videos for safety reasons)

It won’t show on the ES menu until you install a game what version of batocera are you running and what hardware are you using ? Also there is a log in user data/system/addons/heroic.log I think

@ version 40 Pc is a optiplex 3070, intel i5 (not amazing but runs Xbox, Wii, PS2 perfectly) In the add on heroic folder there 5 text files (no .log) and a folder with a icon

I still have problems with windows games under batocera. I watched your video and create cmd autorun files also I renamed the folders. Pc but when I try to start a game in die Windows category I always jump to virtual desktop. In the extended options for wine I got only one option something with GE no other options. I tryed to install wine 9 over interface doesn't work. I don't know what I doing wrong 😢 maybe I have to wait for v41 release so this will fix? I also try to install windows ports and It says download aborted.

@@Artstye4you heroic supports importing games that have already been installed. On heroic, click add game, then direct it towards the .exe, whatever the exe is called to run the game. Prefill in the title and it should pull the image from it's database. Make sure you've set up Proton-Latest as the default runner (Like in this video). And then try to launch it through heroic. If it works, great, you'll now be able to launch it from the heroic menu in ES

I had a similar problem. See the Batocera Unofficial Add-ons GitHub repository --> Issues --> Issue number 3: Typo in ... . I posted a temporary workaround. I cannot put a link here because KZbin keeps deleting my comment.

@@SilverTester he's messing with bliss os container; the problem is there is no gpu acceleration or audio in it; It's not for gaming. The only android gaming that really works in linux is waydroid, and batocera's modded kernel doesn't support it plus wayland is needed and batocera uses x11/xorg on x86_64.

Thanks for the video success install switch emulator and after install firmware, everything was fine and game can launch from desktop, but after return back to batocera, all switch games can't launch, no matter which emulator I am using, do you have any ideas, thanks!

There is a switch support channel in the BUA discord you can ask them there for more specifics but can you try holding down x or a when hovering over a switch game. A menu will pop up and you can go to advance game settings then emulator and change it to yuzu
