So pretty! 5:20 I think you’re good! When crafters talk about shine without foil, I think it means without using foil sheets or a foiling machine. The metallic card stock is cool and not foil. 😊

Very pretty.....however im a foil lover. I love the impression of the foil (hot foiling) and that supsr shine. I like gold Embossing but imo the foiling creates superb results.

I love CAS cards and this one is gorgeous. Sometimes I really want a foiling machine, but my die cutting system is a Gemini and I just can't seem to justify the cost of the foiling system for that. It is nice to be reminded about other ways to create shine.

@@sworley1956 I just went back and looked over the video. Based on my glass mat, it looks like it was actually a finished size of 3.25" by 6.25." To create that size of base you would start with a 6.5" x 6.25" piece of white cardstock and score the 6.5" side along the middle at 3.25." Hope that makes sense.

That’s another good idea. I love my VersaMark for embossing because it holds on to so much embossing powder. 🙂
