Finally man I’ve been waiting on something like this from Cory ever since that excerpt of him on JRE talking about understanding of space. The octagon has an abundance of space and I feel like a shift in focus towards space management can take mma striking to the next level. High level content from Cory as always.

Check out A Million Styles Boxing with coach Barry for more on space and movement efficiency. Some of the brainiest striking content I've come across between these two.

A video on stance switching, the nuances of, what’s going through your mind of when you want to switch, etc. would be very cool. You’re one of my favorite fighters and love that aspect of your game. Going to rewatch the yan fight now, even though the judges didn’t give it to you it’s still one of my favorites fights of yours to watch. Artwork.

Definitely need more videos on distance control. Really hard to find good videos on yt that thoroughly explain the concept of distance control and how to utilize it

IMHO - - - Too many "MMA Gyms" and "coaches" just teach whatever they watch on UFC/YT. Personally I've experienced several (bad) coaches that conducted practice basically like "hey, I saw this thing. Let's drill this." I've had several other coaches (good) that taught actual strategy like CS here. This is wise. Follow this. Even if you're a beast in training/drilling, you ain't shit in live sparring/fighting. Live sparring/fighting is way too unstructured/fast to just string a bunch of individual moves together. Live is also very complex. You need to rely on muscle memory to perform before your brain tells the body what to do. Cory's simple/effective strategies are awesome.

Cory! Always great content of course. But You should make these vids different. I think your editor should create an intro and make these look like Public Access shows from the 90s. The internet would eat it up if you give it a goofy spin. Trust.

dude i wish more coaches preach this. I hate when coaches just regurgitate "keep ur hands by ur face" as if its like the only and best defense. I get why they do that but it really only goes so far.

Bro😂 I’m so tapped in with the ufc world and have never heard a single person say this, where did this come from? Number 2 no lmao he’s obviously not , no one drops 60 pounds each weight cut that’s impossible, he also posts himself on instagram and a 60 pound difference is the most noticeable thing in the world, you think bros 60 pounds heavier in this video then normally?
