Alex playing the London : I flee far and fast. ( scared of the brain contamination \ *joke* ) Alex playing the Caro Kann : count me in ! I'm there all the way. Some bits of context : I've been playing for 3 years. I'm now 1900-ish on lichess. I've played the Caro for two years, and I've climbed the rankings with it. It is my main move against 1.e4 and I have some success with it. (52% of victories, 43% losses on lichess - rapid ) It is MAINLY thanks to you, Alexandrü. I've been playing the Pirc too for some time, because I was scared of Caro's advance variation, but later came back to it stronger, and now I'm fine with it. So, yeah, I'm an enthousiast of the channel. Matthieu, 41, a frenchman living in Japan and enjoying life. I mean chess. I mean life. Whatever...

Ive used this opening for about a year now i think and still to this day wins are so effortless, i had a game against someone 200 points higher than me and beat them with a 91.9 accuracy with the caro with minimal effort i went from 700 to 1200 with this opening very quickly
@AsaFalyRayyan15 күн бұрын
28:20 was Bxf3 a good move? the idea is if he takes with the knight, he hang e2, if he takes with pawn or bishop, he hang d2. However, I'm only eleven hundred elo, sorry if i'm wrong. Keep making good tutorial bro, I learn chess from your content a lot. [edit] he can simply take with bishop, because knight on d2 is defended by bishop on g5 lol.

Alex is the man! I just learned to play June 26 but already to almost 1100 thanks to Alex videos and courses . I found this channel about 3 weeks ago and was around 600, could probably be at least 1300 if I had a bit more time to play. Ntm he is hilarious, like the alien gambit game I was cracking up the whole time. Only bad thing is I have to play 30 minute games right now, and still lose on time in like 85% of my losses lol (about half of them with winning positions).

Commenting for the algo so Alex gets the recognition and millions of subs he deserves! Also if u see this Alex, please make us some Catalan video! I switched from the jobava to the Catalan last few days and absolutely love it. Am only rated 1050 so far (started playing June 26 and found your channel about 3 weeks ago and went from 700-1050 in about 70 games) so maybe at higher rating it won’t work so well but right now I’m absolutely crushing with it, nobody really knows more than the first 4 or 5 moves

@AlexBanzea16 күн бұрын
as long as you remember the c5-Nc6 concept (to strike in the center) should be walk in the park if you constantly do a blunder check every move. The game wins itself with the extra piece (and weaker guys don't play well for compensation either)
