I've had some Hard Arguments with People about the fact that Australia Is a Country, Oceania is The Continent. And Ive looked up Many Geography Textbooks, All Stating The Continent is Named Oceania. But It seems Since The Advent of Internet, There are just UNREAL amounts of sites, which have Misinformed people into believing the Country of Australia is a Continent which includes the surrounding islands around it. This is Why I would Highly Suggest People educate themselves with Actual Physical Textbooks/Encyclopedias and not from KZbin and Wikipedia and other Misinformation sites.

True but some of us were raised with the 7 continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, and Australia. I didn't hear about Oceania until watching something on TV in college. I didn't take any geography classes in high school or college so it may have been a thing then but I just wasn't exposed to it.

@@AmaaXventures Hey I would like to know where you are reading this in the book jubilees. I have read and did not catch that part you read love to go over the parts speaking about our ancestors and their migration back and forth because what your presenting sounds like it could be the reason why our little island as insignificant hold a lot of remarked and notable things and why we are revered and one of the strongest most kindest loving people of the world in my humble opinion. Thank you for sharing this I definitely have to check out your other videos to fully understand bits parts of what I was missing in this video but that sounds crazy and yes I never once believed we were part of the Lapita people or those migrated from austronesian just seemed highly unlikely and I never understood how someone pale as the moon could tell me about where my ancestors formed and sprang from. Absolutely not! But thank you for your input I definitely will be reading the book of jubilees a gain I agave read it in the past a few times and forgot some but I remember it being a book of accounting each generations every jubilee of 900 years. What a beautiful thing and I remember someone saying to me that she believed that the Polynesian people came from the tribe of nephtali. I still I haven’t looked into it but I think I did and did not see a connection although it is hard to tell by just their abilities and stature because all humans are the same or different but for whatever reason I feel like your probably closer to unearthing these missing links because I sure as hell haven’t came around to researching all this but it’s nice to see our brothers and sisters and elders like yourself share you’re wisdom and findings with us. I love it because I am Tongan and my great great grandfather was one of the chiefly sons that was with the prince of Tonga at the time and assisted him with the missionaries molten and went to New England to translate the KJB into Tongan. Our people are so deeply rooted in spirituality and in the environment that speaks of such beauty as the garden of Eden it makes a lot of sense for it to have been the cradle of humans also I know that East island or Rapa Nui translate into Cradle of humanity. No wonder the Moais and the Mariana islands seem so majestic and otherworldly. You just feel a sensation of gratitude and respect that Moses gave to his forfathers for laying down the foundations that he ascended from. When you said they were Polynesian all I could see was my humble and God fearing grandfather that raised me and had been a devoted loving pastor that built the Wesleyan churches in Tonga and one where I am from in the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up Mormon but I remember sometimes going to my grandpas church to see him and my grandma give their sermons. My grandpa was a quiet and gentle man who loved his wife and always preached the gospel RIP grandpa and Rest well to the prophets of our dear Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen

The landmass is the 8th continent. It is called Aotearoa which fits with all continents that start and end with the letter a, this is why there is a 300 km radius around the nine Islands, the bulk of the landmass is underwater. It also contains one of the kaldra volcanoes in Rotoru. It is commonly known as Lake Taupo. It was also inhabited by white people 800 years ago which was clarified by the tribes of Gisborne

The name Aotearoa was given by white people. Maori called the seperate islands by name since countries was not a concept they used, once the country was called New Zealand the Maori called it Nu Turini. @@lauzroze2981 The name Aotearoa was not given by white people that is a major misconception, attributing the creation of Aotearoa solely to Smith or Stephenson Percy is inaccurate. They popularized the name through their respective works, but its origins lie in much earlier Māori traditions and language. In conclusion, the name Aotearoa boasts a rich and complex history intertwined with Māori oral narratives and early written records. While figures like Smith and Reeves played a vital role in bringing it to wider attention, their contributions lie in dissemination rather than origination. Māori people have used the term Aotearoa for centuries to refer to their homeland, often emphasizing the interconnectedness of the islands and their surrounding waters.

The current definition of a continent combines geology with political science, which is crazy. So under this logic, if North America becomes one govt, now it’s an island, not a continent. Another fallible logic is saying that oceanic crust has to separate continental crust in order for a continent to be considered as such. But oceans shift, land rises, and your definitions will always be changing. So you found continental crust under water. Big deal. One of the crucial elements in even defining a continent is that is must be surrounded by water. If your continental crust is under water, IT IS NO LONGER A CONTINENT. And even if it was above water at some point…you can’t say it was a continent, it could have just been an “island,” right? 😂 It’s pretty sad that our scientific community is actually divided on what determines a continent. It should, however, be completely and exclusively geological.

I don’t know about others but New Zealand has never been a hidden continent. New Zealand aka Zealandia has always been around it’s just been under water for many many years and people are only just realising this now. I’m not sure about others New Zealanders but I’m pretty sure majority of us knew there was more than what’s actually there. And if you look at some maps depending on what you are looking at you can actually see that there’s more to New Zealand than a lot of people realise.

You just made your first mistake by saying Australia is a continent. It isn't.

Australasia or Oceania. Take your pick. They contain New Zealand.

Why does everyone use a map that cheats out the size of Africa?! You put up a map that had North America look larger than Africa when Africa is about 25% bigger than N. America.

AI commentary can be horrible. That being said, this is easily the best one I've heard. I will.stop watching something if the AI commentary is really bad. But i think some people just need to complain about something. Because some humans couldnt do any better that the AI in this vid. Imo anyway.
