I gave for 30 years and I ended up with burnout. My story is different. As a teacher a gave my heart and soul. I gave too much of me! Others were always more important than me, other people’s successes were always more important. Employees don’t help one another because competition contributes to burnout. I’m in favour of emotional intelligence but not many value it. My story of burnout? I lost my livelihood and everything! It’s not fatigue. It’s far more serious. This is my view and experiences which I could have done without! Bearing in mind it was my dream job.

This is such an important comment. When we talk of burnout, we often think of success in terms of business, but that is a limited perspective. Giving of ourselves without giving to ourselves is a cause of burnout too.

You let people recover after working towards a business goal so they can gain back their physical and mental energy so they aren't constantly working under stress which cause harm.

@@ricci8497 Aha okay, thank you. There was no need for the video to be that long for a simple "rest after work in order to avoid burnout", right?
@ricci84972 ай бұрын
@@muhamed36 The main video is much longer and the whole question has a lot larger context with where the interview had been and keeps on going yes the answers long winded but there was a huge amount of context missing in this very short clip.

It sounds like you’re in a tough place. I am one of those guys who wants to work hard so my future wife doesn’t have to. We still exist. I think what’s been hard, from my experience and why it’s difficult to find some of these working women attractive, is that women tend to take on masculine qualities that drive men like me away. It’s a tough spot for a woman to be in for sure. I hope you find the right guy if your goal is to be a traditional wife and mom!
