The quality of life in a country should never be judged by the elites. I'd rather live in a country where public transportation is efficient and safe rather than a country where everyone is forced to have a car and the richest have limos. Large villas of less than 1% population do not prove that Poland works - and the fact that a shitty apartment in Kraków costs 3500 złotys proves that it doesn't.

😁 I have the same feeling. I was born and raised in Poland (Gdańsk). I visited Poland many times. It is true that country changed a lot since 1990. Currently I don't see any difference between living in Spain, Italy, Greece etc., or Poland especially when people are living and working in big cities. What is really bothering me is that a lot of Poles complain how bad it is in Poland and how bad goverment is !!! Most of them have no clue that working, living, rising family, paying bills and taxes in the west is also not a walk in the park. Take care..
@dziun1a

@@Carlos-Santos We know that, many of us worked abroad or have a family in Western Europe countries. I'm glad that I live in Poland and my country developed so much, because of our collective hard work. But you can't fully understand why we are complaining, because you are not live in Poland now, you are just a visitor. We have our own problems here, and they are not fake just because Western Europe countries have their problems. Complaining about everything is our national trait and I don't like it a lot, but I think it has also a good effect, because when you complain about something, you not only just venting - you are spotting the problem, talking about it and think how to fix it. Maybe it's one of the reasons why our country is such successful.

The fun fact about Konstancin is that it was not destroyed during ww2 because locals were ejected from those mansions which were inhabited by nazi high ranked officers. That is why you can notice some abandoned places and great old architecture.

Konstancin is a town with the status of a health resort from the beginning of 1900’s . In the city center, right next to this villa district from your video, there is a beautiful spa park with graduation towers in the middle, opened from May to October, where everyone can use health inhalations for a little fee :) opposite to the graduation towers there is Eva Park and Spa - with a great wellness area - the warm swimming pool and jaquzzi are just with healing brine from thermal springs located under the Konstancin :) I am a regular visitor, because I live nearby ;) I highly recommend you this the next time when you are in Konstancin :)

There are several suburbs of Warsaw that have parts looking similar to what’s on the video. I come from Izabelin which is on the opposite side to where Konstancin is, i.e. on the North. You can find streets with a similar vibe there, e.g. Kulczyk’s house is there (he was the richest Pole). Izabelin is also known to border Kampinoski National Park famous for sand dunes and… mooses, I remember seeing them sometimes on my way to school :). Legionowo is another similar town on eastern side of Warsaw suburbs.

I live in London but I invest in Poland and I bought a house not in Warsaw which I love btw but in Gdansk. People especially older generation can be unpleasant sometimes but this changes slowly. It is true there are still stereotypes in wester countries and some people still believe or like to believe that Poland is 3rd world poor country and it is always cold. I blame a wester propaganda and poor education for this or maybe they are just jealous and a little confused and afraid that we are growing so fast who knows.

It's a 2 houses- 3 story buildings, full of art with a garden with wonderful sculptures. Right now they have Tamara de Lempicka exhibition. The biggest sample of her art that I have seen. The exhibitions are so accessible to the public, that this place is now my favorite art museum in Poland, even though the National Museum is a good one- I love this one in Konstancin. There's also a park, close to those houses, that I visited last year with some friends, amazing place too. They have a "water wall", I forgot the name, with healing waters there. Definitely, a must see. As you said, Warsaw is growing really fast and I love it's modern vibe, maintaining their old style at the same time.

The history of Konstancin began in late XIX when rich owner of this whole land count Skórzewski decided to make even more money and and sold parcels to other rich people from Warsaw who had their summer residences built there. This place always smelled of big money even during communist regime members of ruling so called "workers party" preferred to live in luxury :) When you leave historical Konstancin area and go to more industrial Jeziorna or former village of Skolimów, you enter different environment where you can easily spot long history of post-war communist poverty and only latest 30y of rapid development.

@@renanvinicius6036 Yes...Like rest of european countries... even west germany and in CA in US... I recommend google camera... everywhere exist in bad condition condos, mansion and dingy or nice properies. or dingy outside and nice inside and ding inside but nice from outside. :P I was talking about ''title of home ownership'' And I sorry I made a mistake...in poland 85.6% citizsens own their own property...it's not unusual for one family to own one or two or even four properties.Older or newer or lands and own forest.For example one communist or pre-war apartment and home an another location and grammas countryside. I dont know why in another wealhier country percentage is so lower. That is my question

@@renanvinicius6036 yes its quite true but not agree because statisticly west citisens are earning better and have more money for buying properies than PL citisens and in Poland is smaller middle class and so smal OldMoney families tjan in west. ....so what else... in last year 9.5 milions of ukrainian citisens who run abroad they fled the war and now take rents out or bought quite milions of them. Properties new builded or ugly in bad condition too, in depend of their personal financial situaton..🤷‍♀but for example in Wyoming or even Sarasota FL are huge area where are more than 60% empty houses and situation looks similar people left. I saw this for my eyes..Sooo.And society class. For example class of Old Money families in PL is less than western and is smaller Middle Class.Poland had 2 world war and 50years of socialism. But I want to back to topic of conversation and major question. Why in PL from decades almost everybody have ''title of home ownership''notarized property deeds but in wealthy west countries societies are percentage lower private ownership.
