Easton is Canadian, based in Vancouver. It's the road brand of Race Face.

Is the "realness" of steel frames just a lack of stiffness? If that is the case, I think it would be possible to replicate the stiffness of a high-end steel frame with carbon fiber composite and have it lighter. Even lighter than conventional "performance" road bike frames, which are typically siffer than high-end steel frames. The mechanical design of road bike frames are based on stiffness rather than strength, so I assume carbon fiber frames can get lighter than they are without braking.

I'm ridin' wit the same Pasela PT tyre (622*32) and i have to say, they must working on puncture protection. The rolling resistance is excellent, but maan, by now, my tyre has more holes than a bunch of hoes.
