There has been a ton of terrible contracts in NFL history let me tell you. But the way this one is going? It will easily pass the greatest blunders in the history of the sport.
Deshaun Watsons time in Cleveland has been just bad. And when stacked up to the worst contracts in history? Watsons makes theirs look good.

The idea that this is the worst trade In history is ridiculous at the moment lol just in the last few years the 49ers threw 2 firsts and a third to trade up for a guy who played 8 total games for them and is now off the team lol ontop of that the russ trade looks arguably worse than the DW trade. Watson has not looked great but it’s not unexpected for him to look bad his first 6 games back though he did go 3-3 which is funny enough. This seasons he’s 2-1 one of those looked spectacular, one looked horrifying, and one looked middle of the road in a bad weather game. The reality is nobody really knows right now if he will end up being good or not. It’s unfortunate that he’s hurt but that’s just how it goes so we will have to wait and see how it shakes out.

Yeah I'm not so quick to sign him out yet, there's so many pieces of the Browns' puzzle in play. Whether you're a fan of Deshaun or not, only time will tell. He seems genuinely invested into the Browns organization and want's to go out there and prove himself, but I don't think they want another Baker Mayfield incident where he plays through injury and essentially gets his career ruined/ended.

Browns fan here: Between Randy Lerner and Jimmy Haslam it’s clear the NFL literally hates Browns fans. Contrary to popular opinion I love the contract because Jimmy Haslam is a Scooby-Doo villain, and Deshaun Watson was paid hundreds of millions of dollars of Haslam’s money at the cost of literally everyone in the world but Watson’s friends and family thinking Watson is a creep off the field and useless on the field. What more could any Browns fan want or expect from a league that disdains a rabid fan base. This has been fun.
