Thing is, I still use way less time to walk myself those 200m to the belt to pick up my bags as I do to get on the buss, wait for people to get on, waith for safety clearance, get buss to drive me to door, STILL wait for clearence and passage and STILL get trough the bridge and another 100m to the belt. Its bs.

I never understood why people have a problem with taking the bus to the terminal. As if driving for a few minutes is a huge inconvenience.

The problem with getting is the bus is when you’ve booked and paid for speedy boarding but everyone ends up on a bus - so this equals a waste of money!!!

All very well except when it’s a 300 seat aircraft, you’re at the back, there’s only 1 or 2 buses available and it’s a 10 min ride to the terminal. Happened to me at Bangkok a couple of times. One of those took 50mins from landing to reaching the back of the immigration queue. Doesn’t matter how you spin it, not a good outcome.

I once landed at an airport, got on a bus. Got the the terminal walked around a nearby stair case to my gate, got on a bus and went right back to the same plane I landed in. Plane went from Boston, to DC to Portland OR.
