No! I don't want you to think like that! Some things in this video are purely his suggestions. It can take hard work, but with everything, it just takes time. *Please* get rid of that "taking good pictures is [objectively] hard" mentality. It will only hinder you. I'd like you to think more along the lines of, "I want this doggone shot, even if it's the last thing I do," rather than how difficult it may be. Of course, (I'm not saying this for you), any lack of experience in any field will make you think that something is difficult *if you compare yourself to others with a negative mindset.* Anybody can take great pictures. It's just a matter of time. Hard work? Sure. That's anything. Objectively hard? Not if you have the fundamentals, head knowledge and experience.

I love that you don’t call photos bad, because they aren’t your taste. Many of the photos you didn’t like, I really loved, and I think that it’s important to understand the difference between a bad photo and a photo that isn’t popular or liked by certain people. Because it’s not about other’s opinions, but it’s about the personal preference.

"I don't crop", like that means anything more than your trying to say that you are so good you get everything in camera perfect, ( a photographic God) is just bull. You see, im not really sure about that aspect at 16:53. I think an argument for a square crop is that it is reminiscent of a medium format/square format landscape photo. Also, I thinl with how cool that sky was that the photographer had wanted to keep that, the mountain, and the couple all in the same composition. I completely agree about the couple's expression though. Holding hands and looking back at the camera looks like when you stop on the middle of the road for deer crossing and they give you that deer in headlights look.

The garter tradition is for the groom in a wedding. A man will toss it and another man from the wedding will catch it....just like catching flowers, it means that man is going to get married next! So tossing a bouquet is the ladys tradition and tossing the garter is the grooms. I still have my garter as do my daughters..plus my silk bouquet. The decor with the rings was very popular, the past few years, wood rounds cut thin etc...candles, pine cones and twine...it goes in phases.

This review has cemented what I was already contemplating, which is photography is very very subjective. It doesn’t matter how many years you’ve been a photographer, a good picture is a good picture, if I like it great, if I don’t like it, I’m sure someone else likes it and think it’s great. So just grab your camera, go outside and shoot whatever you like. As long as you like it and enjoy it is all that matters. Also, JPEG, RAW who cares!!!! Day to day I shoot JPEG ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️, and i shoot raw in commercial settings, weddings, sports etc. If you’re new to photography, save files however is convenient for you and your budget, but just go out and take photos of beautiful people, beautiful places and beautiful life.
