explanation on what flowey was talking about, since you said you weren't really following. it's been 8 years since i've played the game, so i might get something wrong but. in the pacifist run when youre in the underground laboratory with the amalgamations, there are old tapes you can watch. in those tapes, it's revealed that asriel and the original human (the name you name yourself in the beginning is the name of the og human btw, technically their canonical name is Chara i believe? the character you play as is revealed to be named Frisk) accidentally made asgore sick by feeding him golden flowers. chara then gets the idea to purposefully make themself sick using these flowers. chara will die, asriel will take their soul, go through the barrier and collect the 6 other human souls they need to free the monsters. this doesnt end up working, as asriel doesnt kill anyone while on the surface and instead comes back to die, his dust landing on the flowers (hence how flowey comes to be). once asriel, now flowey, wakes up as a flowey, he is confused and alone. eventually asgore finds him and tries to comfort him, but flowey cant feel anything, since he doesnt have a soul. deciding life isnt worth living, he tries to end himself. as he's dying, he fears the idea of what comes after death and uses his determination to "reload his save", essentially coming back to life. he's been through many alternate timelines, doing whatever he can think of and then restarting it all. however, when YOU arrived, he couldnt load saves anymore. you took that power from him, since you were human and were able to have more determination in him. flowey proclaims that you MUST be the og human, and now he recognizes you. kind of implying that you were a regular human who got possessed by the soul of chara, i think? and the only way he can think that happened, is because toriel brought chara's body to her home and buried them, right underneath the golden flowers that frisk lands on when they first fall into the underground. flowey wants to help you, who he believes to be chara, to cause terror again and destroy everyone. but youre actually such a despicable human being that he becomes scared of you. i think that's all. VERY SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD if you play pacifist again, there's an easter egg at the end of the credits that implies that chara is possessing your body because you agreed to give them your soul, and it's also implied that they kill (at the very least) all of the main characters (toriel, papyrus, alphys, etc). also at the end of genocide, if you choose to ERASE, chara still kills you. if you do multiple genocide routes, chara has extra dialogue that isn't anything special, just calls you a sentimental freak for repeatedly wanting to destroy a world and then recreate it

Undyne the Undying has 23000 HP... Sans has 1 and he's harder because he knows how to dodge. Asgore knows how to dodge and has 3500 HP (and would probably have more with the 6 souls) yet he refuses to dodge or use the souls to fight you, even in genocide.

Personally speaking I find undying hard than sans due to the fact you can't memorize her attack patterns as well due to them switching things up every attempt.

While Asgore can dodge Undyne's attacks canonically in the lore, it has never been confirmed he could dodge a player's attack. There are rules in video games that Undertale likes to make part of the lore (for example, you can't attack NPCs when they're in shops, as evidenced by Gerson's geno dialogue), and thus far only Sans has been able to break them. This is relevant because the whole dodging thing only occurs on the one character that seems capable of breaking the rules, and that character is not Asgore. Also simply judging by the damage a single attack does, Asgore would die about as easily as Sans minus the 6 souls increasing his HP. But Asgore also has invuln frames (Sans doesn't) so it's actually way easier to beat him, even if he could dodge. So really I doubt it would be anything more than a slightly more tedious and easier to cheese Sans fight. Not to hate on Asgore ofc, he's my favorite character due to how tragic he is and that his backstory is believable and even relatable to anyone who's gone through grief. But he is by no means stronger than Sans.

I love that even though Flowey is always presented as this ultra-evil supervillain who wants nothing more than kill everything, the game shows you that at the end of the day, you’re no better than him. He was given the power to save & load, so first he used it for good. He helped everyone and solved their problems, he was just nice to everybody. But eventually, he ran out of things to do. People became predictable, he had done everything this world had to offer. But he started thinking about what else he could do. He had been nice to people so far, but… what if he killed everyone? He didn’t really want to do it, but it was the only thing he could do. So he did it. Similarly, people most likely do a few neutral & pacifist playthroughs, but eventually, they do a genocide playthrough, just because they want to know what would happen. They start killing everybody, just because they can. And because they can, they have to (yes, I just quoted sans). Just like Flowey, the players are given the ability to save and load, so eventually they resort to genocide, because they just had to see what happens. Flowey openly admits that he ended up enjoying it, and, even if we don’t want to admit it, so did we.

Well the whole point of sans's battle is that i think? He dosen't fight you becouse he wants to kill you, he knows you're just gonna come back so he actually tryes to persuade you as much as he can in making you reset the game and "do the right thing" pribably hinting to the pacifist run. You are acting how i acted when i did my first genocide route. I did like my 15th genocide rout a few days ago and after my first one i have been desensitized. So desensitized that somehow it take me 3 tries to defeat Undyne the Undying and 1 try to defeat San. What i am trying to say is that after some point you get used to it. The genocide route has actually became my favorite route. One thing i hate though is that Mettaton Neo isn't an actual boss which really disappoints me
