I've got an '04 GMC Sierra 2500HD w/Alisson Series 1000 trans that has just under 530,000 miles. All in all, it runs quite well and is somewhat stingy with the fuel. My younger brother whom I bought the truck from, was over the other day and I say to him, let's check for blowby. Removed the oil filler cap and let it rest in place with the engine running. The cap did not attempt to move one bit so he checked for blowby with his hand and said he could not feel a thing. Admittedly I probably do not change the oil and filter as often as I should. I use an AC PF 2232 filter and Shell Rotella T5 15W-40 synthetic blend oil about every 13,000 miles. I would normally use Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic except that oil in 2.5 gallon jugs is hard to find here. Oh, my truck has the original exhaust system.

My dad owns a 2011 F-150 Ecoboost with 305,000 miles. My cousin, who owns a business, has four 5.4L Triton vans, with the lowest mileage at 400,000. He also has two Transit vans with the 3.5L Ecoboost, both with over 400,000 miles. He also owns three Chevy 6.0L trucks, all around 500,000 miles, and two F-550s with the 6.7L engine-one at 580,000 miles and the other at 700,000 miles.
